It was never only about heroes in Game of Thrones. It was also about those seemingly minor characters who performed so brilliantly that it was difficult to overlook their importance. Nathalie Emmanuel‘s Missandei of Naath remained at Daenerys Targaryen’s side faithfully until the end. The well-known actress will appear in another fantasy series that will take her into the future.

Nathalie Emmanuel lands a major role in Ghosts of Ruin

The Game of Thrones and Fast and Furious star has joined the voice cast of the animated series Ghosts of Ruin as announced at this year’s San Diego Comic-con. She’ll be playing Dr. Angela Tucci, who runs the neural network that runs a huge VR game in the series and plays a pivotal role. Emmanuel joined Ahsoka’s Rosario Dawson and the MCU Spider-Man trilogy’s Tony Revolori in Ghosts of Ruin.

What is Ghosts of Ruin about?

In the high-concept sci-fi series Ghosts of Ruin, a group of players competes in the first-ever battle royale utilizing neural reality, which is similar to virtual reality but takes place entirely inside the brain. The video game Ruin contracts a virus, and things quickly deteriorate into a nightmare.

When will Ghosts of Ruin be released?

The Web3 firm Gala Film website will host the launch of Ghosts of Ruin later this year. The production team hopes to collaborate with a streaming service on a larger distribution.
