Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin teases fans about more Game of Thrones prequels
HBO got the fans on their toes last year in December by confirming Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon. There are rumours about more prequel shows being developed at the HBO headquarters. With all the buzz currently going on, George R.R. Martin is busy working with his new projects. However, he does find the time to tease Game of Thrones lovers whenever he can on his blog Not a Blog.
He wrote, “Of course there’s HOUSE OF THE DRAGON at HBO, the GAME OF THRONES prequel series that Ryan and Miguel are helming, and maybe possibly some other stuff for HBO that I cannot tell you about (but it is very exciting), and also a new series for AMC that I also cannot tell you about… yet… (hint, hint).
Oh, and there’s FRIENDS FOREVER. Just a short film, maybe twenty minutes long. A labour of love, that I hope you’ll love as much as I do. That one will happen if the pandemic ever allows it. If not for COVID, we would have shot it already. It is the first of four shorts that I hope to film, based on classic short stories by one of the most idiosyncratic writers our field has ever produced. That’s what’s on my plate in television and film.
You all know what is on my plate in prose. I need to finish WINDS, and then maybe write another Dunk & Egg novella, and then get right into A DREAM OF SPRING, and in between edit some more Wild Cards books.
Once more into the breach, dear friends… Westeros beckons.”

When you are recognized for your hard work and dedication, it’s like a dream come true. Zack Snyder is known as one of the most hard-working directors of Hollywood. DC fans have long awaited the release of his cut of the superhero movie Justice League. After years of waiting, it is finally happening. One of the trailers for the movie feature Game of Thrones’ Jason Momoa, who shines brilliantly. Watch the trailer below!
The trailer opens with the original introduction of Arthur Curry in Justice League just after his first encounter with Bruce Wayne. Bruce was already assembling the Justice League in preparation for the arrival of Steppenwolf. The bit was prominently-used in the marketing for the movie’s theatrical version, but for some reason, it was re-shot. The video also uses footage from Aquaman, including Arthur’s reclamation for the Trident of Neptune, which Vulko urges him to claim in the narration. In Justice League, however, he’s used a different pike, Jason Momoa called it ‘a quindent‘ which was loaned from Mera.
DC fans are hopeful and believe the Snyder’s cut is much better than the theatrical mess. The Snyder Cut will be streamed on March 18 on HBO Max. Are you excited about the director’s cut? Tell us in the comments below!
Game of Thrones featured some of the most iconic warriors in television history. Among the great warriors of the show, there was one who was feared by all, The Mountain. The Mountain was played by the strongman Hafthor Bjornsson, who impressed the fans with his frightening demeanour.
Bjornsson took official retirement from the world of competitive powerlifting last year. He cemented a legacy in the sport which included 10 consecutive wins at Iceland’s Strongest Man event. Since then, he has lost 110 pounds in the last seven years. He is pivoting his training to focus on boxing as he prepares for his long-awaited fight with rival Eddie Hall.
The workout consists of just three exercises like kettlebell swings, sandbag throws, and deadlifts. In 2020, Bjornsson broke the world record for heaviest deadlift after pulling 501 kgs (1,104 pounds). Bjornsson’s new deadlift routine is 5 sets of 3 reps at 225 kgs (496 pounds), but in the video, by Men’s Health he puts on a belt to see how much further he can push himself. Bjornsson incrementally adds more weight until he’s pulling more than he initially predicted: 360 kgs (794 pounds).
Bjornsson is stepping forward to face his long time rival Eddie Hall in the World’s Heaviest Boxing Match in Los Vegas on September 2021. Are you excited about the fight? Tell us in the comments below!
In today’s fast-pacing world, mental well-being is often an overlooked prospect. Mental health can affect the social, emotional and physical health of a person. It is responsible for how one copes with life.
Game of Thrones stars Nathalie Emmanuel and Jacob Anderson (Raleigh Ritchie) are reuniting to host a virtual pub quiz. They have starred together on the HBO series as Missandei and Grey Worm. They will be teaming up again for raising funds for Place2Be. Place2Be is a children’s mental health charity that provides counselling and mental health support and training in schools.

Clearly excited to join forces with her former co-star, Nathalie tweeted: ‘Aaayyyeeee the crewdem reunites!’
Both actors were among the few to make it all the way to the final season of Game of Thrones until Missandei was brutally decapitated in front of her lover in a death that struck a nerve with the fandom. As one of the only non-white characters throughout the series, when her grisly end arrived, many viewers criticised the writers for ending her journey.
The former Hollyoaks star told Vogue.co.uk she would often talk to Jacob about representation in the series.
“We were always really conscious of how much our being part of Game of Thrones mattered to people. It made us really protective of Missandei and Grey Worm,” she said.
The show will be airing on Sunday, February 28. Those willing to take part will be able to ask a question to the Game of Throne icons. If you get a chance to ask a question what would your query be? Tell us in the comment below!
