Game of Thrones cinematographer says the upcoming episodes will be “crowd pleasing” and “epic”
Game of Thrones season 7 started off with an incredibly shocking and brilliant episode followed by another which was equally as explosive if not more. Not only are fans of the show looking forward to the next few episodes of season 7, the makers are also pretty excited to see how the audience will react. In a recent interview withRadio Times, cinematographer Robert McLachlan revealed that the upcoming episodes, specifically episode 4 and 5 are going to be quite “surprising” and “satisfying”.
He described episode 4, which is titled ‘The Spoils of War’, to be “surprising” and “epic”, while saying that episode 5 will be “very satisfying” and “crowd pleasing”.
“I’m extremely pleased with them,” McLachlan said. “Four is definitely going to impress people and five I especially like too – there are some lovely crowd-pleasing scenes in it.”
We’re assuming that the 4th episode is going to involve a battle sequence based on the images we’ve seen of ‘The Spoils of War‘. McLachlan said that episode 4 was his favourite one to film out of the two episodes he’s done for season 7.
“[I]t was really hard work – uncommonly hard work,” he said. “It was the toughest one I’ve done of the eight episodes I’ve worked on.”
Given how amazing the initial two episodes have been, we can only hope that the rest of them will be even more epic going by what McLachlan has said. For now all we can do is prepare ourselves for the next episode.
Tell us in the comments what you’re excited to see in the upcoming episodes of season 7.
