Fan recreates Game of Thrones’ Westeros in Minecraft after 12 years of hard work

Locations inspired by the setting of Game of Thrones are the focus of one specific Minecraft server called Westeroscraft. A fan has spent years trying to make their own Westeros within the game, and now they have finally succeeded.

Minecraft player builds Westeros from Game of Thrones

A member of the WesterosCraft server, u/Pizzainacup has contributed to the construction of some of the most recognizable sites in George R.R. Martin’s world in the last 12 years. On the server, users may travel across the popular regions of Westeros and even apply to become builders like u/Pizzainacup, contributing to the creation of the World of Ice and Fire.

Which Game of Thrones locations can be viewed in Westeroscraft?

u/Pizzainacup presented a number of iconic locales from George R.R. Martin’s popular fantasy novel in a post on r/Minecraftbuilds. The Night Watch’s stronghold of Castle Black, the Westerosi capital of King’s Landing with The Iron Throne and the Sept of Baelor, the Stark fortress of Winterfell, and the Tyrell seat of Highgarden were among the many castles and fortresses that were displayed. The clip concluded with a glimpse of House Greyjoy’s sea-battered fortress, Pyke.
