Drone video shows Game of Thrones production filming on icy set at Wolf Hall Quarry
With Season 7 filming going on, fans seem to be finding newer ways of fetching the impatient ones among us, some spoiler material. We had previously reported that the production of Game of Thrones was building an icy set near Belfast, at the Wolf Hall Quarry. Now, we have video footage of the same!
YouTuber phantom pilot has uploaded drone footage of the Wolf Hill Quarry set, and ongoing production. We can see a frozen lake with an island, which matches the information in the Season 7 plot leak. The set also looks snowier than one would expect, which can be explained with a simple “Winter is here.” Watch the video, below :
HBO has previously banned drones around production area, and has even considered using live eagles to get rid of any rogue drones they might encounter. However, all of that doesn’t really seem to do much, considering how this video shows clear footage of the set from a drone that’s not too far away, despite being far enough to be not spotted.
Game of Thrones is probably the first show to have its own paparazzi, but we don’t mind, as long as the juicy spoilers, pictures, and videos, keep coming.
