Dark Horse and HBO unveil a limited edition Jon Snow – Battle of the Bastards Bust
The Game of Thrones fandom is a massive one, and so is the franchise. As such, merchandise is not a foreign concept to HBO, and definitely a good business decision, as well as an exciting one, considering the popularity of the show. We have seen a lot of licensed as well as original merchandise being rolled out over the years, and the latest one doesn’t fail to impress. Dark Horse Comics, who have a long line of Game of Thrones merch, officially licensed by HBO, have now revealed a limited edition Game of Thrones : Jon Snow – Battle of the Bastards Limited Edition Bust.
This adds to Dark Horse’s existing Game of Thrones lineup. The bust shows Jon Snow holding his sword, Longclaw, like he was while waiting for the horde of Bolton soldiers, during battle of the bastards. The description reads :
“The pulse-pounding climax of the most recent HBO season of Game of Thrones was the “Battle of the Bastards,” where Jon Snow faces off in a life-or-death struggle with evil Ramsay Bolton–considered one of the most ambitious and elaborately choreographed battles ever staged for filmed entertainment. A key moment is when Jon prepares for his last stand by drawing his sword Longclaw and facing the Bolton army seemingly alone. This is the moment sculptor Dave Cortes and his studio capture. “

This bust stands 6” tall, measured from the base to the top of his head, and the sword extension. It is a Limited Edition figure, and the number of units are yet to be decided. The bust will come in a full-color deluxe packaging, and include Certificate of Authenticity, like all Dark Horse merch.
