Ben Crompton teases a brilliant Game of Thrones Season 8
Game of Thrones is a show with a lot of great characters, but there is a downside. Many good characters sort of get buried under the surface, and one such characters in Eddison Tollett. Many of you might know him as Edd, or Dolorous Edd, and he has been on the show since Season 2. It’s a low key character, but he’s now the current Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch. In a recent interview, Ben Crompton, who plays the role of Edd on the show, spoke about how Season 8 will be great. Read on!
Chronicle Live spoke to Ben when he was in Ashington, promoting the Movember campaign, which has grown quite popular. He tried to not reveal anything about the details, but he did give us a teaser :
“I can just tell you it’s brilliant – honestly there’s a couple of things there that are like nothing else that’s been seen on telly.”

He said :
“It’s been on seven years now, so we’ve got a good dynamic amongst the actors. It can be slow sometimes because of the detail that goes into it – you’re making films basically.”
“It takes time but the end result is quality television.”
He also talked about the Movember campaign, and encouraged men to pay attention to their mental and physical health.
