Game of Thrones fan creates real-life version of Beric Dondarrion’s flaming sword
Game of Thrones had some of the most iconic weaponry in television history. They have been turned into props and merchandise and are quite sought after. But there are some weapons that have seemed quite impossible to make, that is, until now. Remember when the character Beric Dondarrion used a flaming sword as his trademark weapon and wielded it against the Hound in season 3? He used it against the army of the dead in season 8 as well. A fan has managed to bring fantasy to life, after making a real-life replica of the sword, along with the flames.
YouTube channel Faraway Forge posted a video of the full construction of the sword step by step. In the video below, the man takes you through each and every step of the process all the way to the big flaming final product.
The video shows the full process of making the sword, from start to finish. It appears to have been coated with some kind of material film that supports combustion for longer periods of time. It is truly amazing to watch such a beautiful creation come to life.

Actress Elizabeth Olsen is best known for her superhero character Wanda Maximoff a.k.a the Scarlett Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She has become a household name ever since, gaining immense popularity amongst MCU fans. However, there is another famous character she auditioned for, and botched it horribly. Olsen tried out for the role of Daenerys Targaryen once, and she described the experience as terrible and she wanted to quit it immediately. Since then, many fans have wondered how the MCU actress would have looked in her Game of Thrones avatar. Thanks to the ever-evolving software technology, we finally have an answer.
An incredibly realistic deepfake video from YouTube creator Stryder HD turned Olsen into the Mother of Dragons. The resemblance between Olsen and Clarke in the video is eerily uncanny, and places Olsen in several iconic Daenerys-centric scenes. Check out the video below.
As we know, Emilia Clarke eventually went on to play the iconic Dragon Queen on Game of Thrones, it is interesting to note that both Daenerys and Wanda shared a few similarities. Both the characters have been through a lot, losing a lot of loved ones in the process. And both of them retaliate, one burns a whole city down, the other kidnaps an entire town. So maybe if Olsen had a chance to play Daenerys, she might have done a great job as well.
