House of the Dragon to film additional outdoor scenes in Bourne Wood next month
The development of Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon is advancing at a breakneck pace, as evidenced by regular set leaks. The series benefited significantly from being one of the few shows that did not suffer from the writer’s strike. The franchise’s progenitor George R. R. Martin recently confirmed that the show is more than half done, and more sources hint at a few more outdoor scenes will be shot in August.
House of the Dragon will film in Bourne Wood in August
Quite recently, Cross Plains Productions, which is responsible for much of the outdoor filming for House of the Dragon in the UK, issued a notice to the residents of Bourne Wood, Surrey, about the filming of the show in the area. Preparations will take place between July 18 – August 14 and the filming will take place between August 15th – August 31st.
Filming of House of the Dragon continues at Leavesden Studios
The filming of the second season of House of the Dragon at the WB headquarters in Leavesden is moving forward at great speed. A few days ago, several pictures of a missive set resembling the Red Keep were leaked online. A couple more pictures of the site were released recently by fan accounts @mediaclips40 and @King_Maegor.
