House of The Dragon showrunner says Season 2 is “all about the kids”
Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon season 2 is currently in the works at HBO. So far, fans have showered the fantasy epic with love, just like its predecessor, dishing out characters, storylines, sceneries, and everything else that makes it so engaging. There have been some new castings on the show, and showrunner Ryan Condal hints at what Season 2 will be all about.
House of The Dragon Season 2 will be about the kids and dragons
Showrunner Ryan Condal recently had a chat with Indiewire and said, “This second season is about the kids that we only saw for a couple of episodes at the end of the series that are now grown up to be young adults who have dragons, who are of riding and fighting age, who have opinions of their own and a desire to get out there and defend the family claim.”
How many Seasons will House of the Dragon have?
Condal has dropped hints about the future of the spin-off series in an interview with IndieWire.In the interview, he confirmed that “It’s more than two,” Furthermore, he also said, “That’s part of the discussion that we’re having. Where do you appropriately end the series in a way that doesn’t feel clipped, but also doesn’t feel dragged out?”
When will House of the Dragon Season 2 be released?
Upon being asked about when will Season 2 of House of the Dragons be released, Condal said, “My philosophy is a good script is number one priority.”
Furthermore, he also added, “I am not doing it based on wanting to have one a year, two a year. I want to do it based on the scripts that we’re excited about.” So it is safe to assume that the show will not return until late 2024.
