Game of Thrones’ David Bradley wants to suit up as the first Doctor Who once again
Game of Thrones was a breath of fresh air in terms of shocking its audience. And perhaps nothing shocked the fans more than the famous Red Wedding episode. Actor David Bradley, who played the role of Walder Frey, was at the center of it all. Bradley has played a number of noteworthy roles in his lengthy career, including Argus Filch in Harry Potter and Doctor Who.
David Bradley wishes to play Doctor Who once again
Doctor Who is a beloved character and TV show, and Bradley once had the chance to play the role when he was young. Originally, the first Doctor Who was played by William Hartnell, but Bradley filled in for him a handful of times, including in An Adventure in Space and Time, a docudrama that celebrated Doctor Who’s 50th anniversary and Hartnell’s time as the Doctor.
Bradley told RadioTimes.com, “Well, I enjoyed doing An Adventure in Space and Time, playing the actor who played Doctor Who, and then with Peter Capaldi I played Doctor Who itself and it still fascinates me. And yes, if ever I get the call, I would always love to, I would love to.”
Who is the new Doctor Who?
Sex Education’s Ncuti Gatwa has been named the 14th avatar of Doctor Who. Matt Smith, who played the 11th Doctor Who, and stars in the Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon, had heaps of praises for the young actor. Speaking at Paris Fan Festival over the weekend, Smith said, “I think he’s going to be brilliant.”
