More pictures emerge as filming amps up at the new Game of Thrones set
Game of Thrones is currently filming for Season 8, and like we had reported recently, there’s a new set in the mix now, that we recently talked about: the set at Magheramorne Quarry with a giant green screen. We recently reported about the Unsullied Army filming there and now we have pictures of some more filming going on. Read on!
Now, to begin with, it was unknown why HBO put up such a giant green screen, but things are starting to get clearer now. Recently we spotted the production filming with Unsullied and probably a couple of lead characters. Let’s take a look at some new pictures from the set:

The Unsullied seem to have new company now, too:

The Unsullied seem to have joined by the cavalry, although we cannot tell if they’re the Dothraki or the Knights of the Vale. For all we know, it’s the Army of the Dead. More on that down below.
We also have a shot of the ship set seen back in Season 7 in the scenes where Euron Greyjoy attacked Yara Greyjoy‘s fleet. It’s standing erect in foreground of the green screen, so it’s possible we’ll see it again:

Moving on, a more recent clip, which is the most important one we have, shows a scene in action. Check out:

We can see a bunch of people going through the crowd of extras and to the other end. There are no horses, nor are there any spears, ruling out the Dothraki and the Unsullied. We can see some smoke and fire going on, too. It’s hard to say which army this could be.
What do you think? Any guesses on what could have been filming here? Hit us up with your theories in the comments, down below!
