Game of Thrones: Liam Cunningham says he'd very much like to stay alive
Game of Thrones is famous for the stack of dead characters it hosts and with the number of people dying here and there in every season, there really isn’t much scope for any of them since their heads can get chopped off anytime without prior notice. This does not make an exception for any character as such, unless they’re Jon Snow and can be brought back to life. And Jon’s new trusted companion Ser Davos Seaworth has been quite the adventurous old man in season 6, what with him having unleashed his wrath on Lady Melisandre for having killed Shireen Baratheon in season 5.
After Ser Davos’s valiant performance at the Battle in the North, along with his more valiant convincing speech before the fierce Lady Lyanna Mormont of Bear Island, we’ve all come to be fond of him, more so than before, and like most of our favourite characters being hacked off in moments, we fear for the life of the Onion Knight as well.
And actor Liam Cunningham, who plays Ser Davos on the show, also seems to agree to the fact that he’d like to be kept alive next season as well based on what Wired reports.
“It’s always a relief for my bank manager,” he joked.“And to my family—they don’t want me dead. And I don’t want me dead. I’d love to be in the last episode [of the series], but you just don’t know.”

Popular characters dying on Game of Thrones is the most common business ever, so let us hope that Ser Davos Seaworth makes it through to the last episode of the series!
