The year 2020 was a Red Wedding for humanity. In times like these, we often wish for a superhero to have existed in reality. Even though we don’t have superheroes in real life, we do have superhero movies to help us get through tough times. Marvel Cinematic Universe has provided some of the most entertaining superhero movies in the past two decades. And they plan to expand their universe more. What’s better than seeing our favourite stars donning the cape? We know that Game of Thrones’ Richard Madden and Kit Harington will star in MCU’s Eternals. The studio just provided a glimpse of footage from the movie. Watch the full video below; the new Eternals footage starts at 2:20:
Marvel dropped a video showing off their amazing roster that included Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and perhaps most intriguing, Eternals. The film is directed by Chloé Zhao, who just became the first non-white woman to win an Oscar for Best Director for her work on Nomadland.
Eternals was originally going to come out in 2020 but was pushed back after theatres closed. The new release date is November 5, 2021. Are you excited about Marvel’s Eternals? Talk to us in the comments below!
Game of Thrones fan creates real-life version of Beric Dondarrion’s flaming sword
Game of Thrones had some of the most iconic weaponry in television history. They have been turned into props and merchandise and are quite sought after. But there are some weapons that have seemed quite impossible to make, that is, until now. Remember when the character Beric Dondarrion used a flaming sword as his trademark weapon and wielded it against the Hound in season 3? He used it against the army of the dead in season 8 as well. A fan has managed to bring fantasy to life, after making a real-life replica of the sword, along with the flames.
YouTube channel Faraway Forge posted a video of the full construction of the sword step by step. In the video below, the man takes you through each and every step of the process all the way to the big flaming final product.
The video shows the full process of making the sword, from start to finish. It appears to have been coated with some kind of material film that supports combustion for longer periods of time. It is truly amazing to watch such a beautiful creation come to life.

Amazing Deepfake video turns Elizabeth Olsen into Game of Thrones’ Daenerys Targaryen
Actress Elizabeth Olsen is best known for her superhero character Wanda Maximoff a.k.a the Scarlett Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She has become a household name ever since, gaining immense popularity amongst MCU fans. However, there is another famous character she auditioned for, and botched it horribly. Olsen tried out for the role of Daenerys Targaryen once, and she described the experience as terrible and she wanted to quit it immediately. Since then, many fans have wondered how the MCU actress would have looked in her Game of Thrones avatar. Thanks to the ever-evolving software technology, we finally have an answer.
An incredibly realistic deepfake video from YouTube creator Stryder HD turned Olsen into the Mother of Dragons. The resemblance between Olsen and Clarke in the video is eerily uncanny, and places Olsen in several iconic Daenerys-centric scenes. Check out the video below.
As we know, Emilia Clarke eventually went on to play the iconic Dragon Queen on Game of Thrones, it is interesting to note that both Daenerys and Wanda shared a few similarities. Both the characters have been through a lot, losing a lot of loved ones in the process. And both of them retaliate, one burns a whole city down, the other kidnaps an entire town. So maybe if Olsen had a chance to play Daenerys, she might have done a great job as well.

Netflix teases Game of Thrones’ Gwendoline Christie as new Lucifer in The Sandman Trailer
The TV adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman is one of DC’s most highly anticipated projects. The Netflix series garnered quite some attention, as it includes an ensemble of highly talented casts, including Game of Thrones alums. Gwendoline Christie, who played Brienne of Tarth in the fantasy series, will play a gender-swapped version of Lucifer in the show. And she is highly excited about it. Netflix has teased a first look at Game of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie on the set of the new drama series The Sandman.
In a brand-new teaser clip shared by Netflix Geeked, Sandman creator Neil Gaiman gives us a sneak peek behind-the-scenes at some of the sets being built at Shepperton Studios, where the series is being produced. We also get to hear from a couple of the show’s stars. Christie reveals just how excited she is to be taking on the role of Lucifer in the clip.
“I read the Sandman graphic novels so I knew that I simply had to be involved in this project because something truly unique was going to happen,” she says in the video. “The sets are vast. A great amount of detail and care has been put into how it’s being brought to life.”
Her co-star Tom Sturridge, who is playing Dream, also describes himself as an “obsessive Sandman fan”, with Gaiman promising that the new series is “being made for people who love Sandman by people who love Sandman”
