Winterfell Crypts proved to be the worst possible place to hide from the Night King

One would have thought that Stark’s who have been buried in Winterfell crypts won’t rise because they’ve been dead long ago and must’ve turned into dust by now. We had all assumed that the crypts were protected with magic. And yet there were some of us who said that the crypts were the worst place to hide.

And in one terrifying moment from the epic Battle of Winterfell, we all were hit with a realization that there was no such magic. There were these, horrifying, ghastly, undead tearing down the stone tombs and going for the living. In that one hair-raising moment when the Night King brought up the dead, everyone in the crypt had to now suddenly get ready for the fight between the dead and the living.

This massive loophole could have cost so much to the entire Winterfell, in it the carnage would have been unidentifiable. The undead army would have suddenly multipled owing to just one mistake, one major mistake, had our very own Lady Stark not come by to the rescue. With the sort of emphasis that the crypts were given in the last episode, and knowing Game of Thrones, this one detail had us all struck with a realization as to what a momentous failure this battle plan was set up for.

It only remains to be seen how the story continues from here and whether or not anyone wants to look at this small detail that the magic on the crypts of Winterfell, that Bran the builder had so carefully built, has not worked and may not ever again.

Real-life is often different from reel life. The celebrities we idolize often face regular problems like normal people. We might want a life like theirs, but ignore the struggles they had to face. For example, Game of Thrones macho man Jason Momoa. Though he appears fearsome as Khal Drogo and majestic as Aquaman on-screen, he’s completely different in real life. The 41-year-old actor recently opened up about his life off-screen in an interview with Men’s Health magazine.

The Game of Thrones star revealed, “I may look big and tough, but I’m not. I’m nothing like Khal Drogo. I’m not even the king of my own house! I’m absolutely terrified of my wife.”

Momoa loves his family. He said, “We’ve all gotten so much closer. My wife is very sophisticated and smart and our kids and I are kind of like animals that need to be trained a little better. I’m constantly a work in progress, and I’ve just been trying to get better as a father and a husband.” 

Jason has been through a lot, without letting anyone know about his troubles. He recently revealed in an interview how his family was facing financial troubles after Game of Thrones. It is tough to imagine someone as popular as he went broke. Things got better for him after the Justice League.

It is no secret to Game of Thrones’ lovers that majority of the show’s filming took place in Ireland. The show led to a boost in tourism sector in the country. No wonder Ireland has a host of Game of Thrones attractions all over the place, new ones opening up soon. The Game of Thrones cast is no stranger to Irish lands. Kit Harington, who filmed a lot of scenes for the fantasy series as Jon Snow, is back in Ireland filming for another show.

The 33-year-old actor was spotted in Dublin filming for the upcoming series of Modern Love. The series tells the stories of couples published in the New York Times.

He was seen cycling through the streets of Dublin for the second season of the Amazon Prime TV show. He looked quite different from his Game of Thrones character. Kit was wrapped up warm in a knit jumper, navy coat and scarf.

The Social Network star Jesse Eisenberg is the only other actor officially confirmed for season two of the show. Little to no details are known about which columns have been chosen for the second season.

Animated movies are a doorway to relive our childhood. Adults and children enjoy them equally. Some of them have such an engaging story they turn out to be a huge success. Sean Bean starrer Wolfwalkers checks off all the markers of a great animated movie. (Another cool animation Hitpig is on the way!). The movie was released on 13th November in The US and has been received really well by critics worldwide.

Directed by Tomm Moore and Ross Stewart, Wolfwalkers is rooted in Irish folklore and art. It follows the tale of a young girl, Robyn (Honor Kneafsey), and her father, Bill (Sean Bean). They have been called from their homeland (England) to take out a pack of wolves in the town of Kilkenny, Ireland, in the 17th century. Robyn longs for the freedom she once had in England and wants to follow in her father’s footsteps as a hunter.

On the other side of the forest are wolfwalkers. They are a small breed of unique humans with the ability to turn into wolves when they sleep. They have control over wild wolves living in the surrounding forests. The wolfwalkers are forced to lash out as the townsfolk destroy their home, hunting them. Robyn must act as a mediator for her Irish town and the wolfwalkers of the forest.

The film features Celtic art and beautifully designed hand-drawn animation. From being the Dad Wolf in Game of Thrones to hunting wolves in Wolfwalkers, Sean Bean has come a long way. Give it a watch and tell us how you felt about it in the comments below!
