Game of Thrones Season 8 filming has been running at full speed, and we have yet another set update for you. This one comes from the King’s Landing set at Titanic Studios, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where the famed King’s Landing set stands, and we have several pictures from the set now, with a new addition to the set. Read on!
Starting off, is a sign that almost seems useless at this point, with fans managing to get pictures from the sets anyway:

Moving on, we have a picture from Game of Thrones fan and Twitter user, A Red Priestess, which shows the gate on the King’s Landing set now matching the twin towers. The set also seems to be modular, with the gate looking complete now, even though it had a giant hole in the middle of it a few days ago:

..and some exclusive footage from us:

Moving on, there’s now a new structure added to the set, as it can be seen in more pictures from A Red Priestess:
We can now see a dome near the tower… and in the third picture, the scaffold they built for the green screen (of which pictures had been taken from the opposite side. See @WatchersOTWall). #GameOfThrones #TitanicQuarter pic.twitter.com/Vtm3EWiAKs

If you look closely, you can see that the set has added a dome. Check it out:
We haven’t really seen many domes yet, except for the Sept of Baelor, which Cersei then blew up, so we’re not sure what purpose this will serve. We will be bringing you the details as we hear about them, and we expect a lot of buzz coming from the King’s Landing set now.
So, got any theories about the dome? Hit us up with them in the comments, down below!
