Stranger Things’ Cara Buono (Mrs. Wheeler) talks about her own Game of Thrones-inspired series finale
Game of Thrones was infamous for killing off some of the best fan-favorite characters. These deaths helped to generate motive and a sense of revenge in the story. While being spectacularly brutal, they also created a sense of dread amongst the viewers, that their favorite character can die anytime. While Stranger Things has managed to capture the awe of the viewers with its amazing storyline, it lacks the murderous instinct like Game of Thrones.
Some of the stars of the sci-fi fantasy have previously complained that the show needs to kill off more characters. Actress Cara Buono, who plays Karen Wheeler, recently talked to Hollywood Life about her own Game of Thrones-inspired season finale. She said:
“I love Game of Thrones. Gosh, that’s a bold idea. I guess everyone could be killed off and it’d be great if who survived is baby Holly. Like, if she was the lone survivor and she’d be, like, 5 by now. That could be a whole post-apocalyptic thing that she’s alone and maybe… who knows what happens to her? She’s a blank canvas.”
