Sophie Turner talks about Game of Thrones Season 7: “It’s the best season yet”
Game of Thrones season 6 was one action packed season, where we got to know about Melisandre’s true age, Jon Snow was resurrected, Daenerys burned alive all the Khals, the White Walkers attacked the Three-Eyed Raven’s cave and Hodor died, Benjen Stark and the Hound returned to the show, Arya killed the Waif, Jon Snow won the amazing Battle of the Bastards, Sansa killed Ramsay Bolton and in the end, Cersei blew up the Sept of Baelor while Jon Snow was declared the King in the North and Daenerys sailed for Westeros!
With so many things happening in just one season, it’s very difficult do something better than it but it seems that Game of Thrones showrunners have managed to do that. Last month Maisie Williams had tweeted about season 7 and said, “Nothing will prepare you for this“. Naturally, at the Emmys, Game of Thrones stars were asked questions about the upcoming season and Emilia Clarke teased about the season 7 battle by saying that it is going to be better than the Battle of the Bastards! She was not the only one who talked about Game of Thrones season 7. When Sophie Turner was asked about the next season, she just couldn’t contain her excitement and she said, “It’s the best season yet. It’s going to better than last season”
She further added that when she read the new script, she almost fell off the chair and she joked that she cried after reading the script. Take a look at the interview below.
