Sophie Turner says she has already told the ending of Game of Thrones to a few people
Game of Thrones Season 8 airs on April 14 on HBO and we can’t hold our excitement any longer. Cast and crew members have hyped up the new season a lot this time especially Sophie Turner who has widely talked about how the ending of Game of Thrones has the potential to divide the fans. According to her:
“This season is bloodier than ever. It’s full of betrayal, full of war, full of danger. That’s all I can say without giving too much away.”
Well, Sophie recently talked to W Magazine, where she talked about how she maintains her hair, which souvenir she took from the Game of Thrones set, and how bad she actually is at keeping secrets, especially about the show. First of all, she revealed the initial difficulties she would face as fans wouldn’t recognize her in her natural blonde hair. She said:
“At first, I had anonymity with the blonde hair, and now it’s a bit less. At the beginning, people freaked out. They hated it. They were like, “She’s not a Stark anymore; she’s trying to be Targaryen.” I was like, “Guys, this is my natural hair colour.” But they are a little less freaked out now.”
There was a time when Sophie believed that dying her hair red was the scariest thing about Game of Thrones. When asked if she still feels the same way, Sophie revealed:
“I don’t think it’s true so much, years later. I think there are a few more scary things that have happened since. At the time, as a 13-year-old girl, it was the scariest thing. But after that, I loved my red hair so much.”
Sophie totally took it to the next level by revealing the only thing she took from the set of Game of Thrones:
“It gets very greasy. It never used to be like that. I think it’s because I wear a wig on Game of Thrones, so the glue gets stuck in my hair, so I had to wash it every day and my hair is now used to that. If it’s any longer than two days, it gets greasy.”
“I am very glad [the wig’s gone.] I didn’t want to keep it. I was like, ‘Goodbye!’ The only thing I kept was a corset…I was thinking about framing it, but people might think it’s a bit weird. Wearing it would be weird. And it’s not the one that covers your boobs.”
Finally, when asked if she knew when the new season of Game of Thrones will come out ahead of its reveal by HBO, Sophie said:
“I did. Or did I? I knew when the actual [red carpet] premiere was going to be. But I didn’t know the episode date.”
And, yes she also said that she is really bad at keeping secrets especially about the new season of Game of Thrones. She said:
“I’m so bad at keeping secrets. I don’t think people tell me things anymore because they know that I can’t keep them. I’ve already told the ending of Game of Thrones to a few people.”
“I was like, ‘Hey, if you want to know, I’ll tell you.’ But it’s people that I know not random people. It’s people that I know will keep the secret.”
