Richard Dormer (Beric Dondarrion) joins Game of Thrones co-star Emilia Clarke in Secret Invasion

Game of Thrones is full of interesting and mysterious character, but there’s only one that is cool enough to have a flaming sword and has been resurrected multiple times: Beric Dondarrion. Actor Richard Dormer, who played the character on the show, will now be seen alongside his co-star Emilia Clarke (Daenerys), in the upcoming MCU TV series Secret Invasion.

What role does Richard Dormer play in Marvel’s Secret Invasion?

In the latest TV featurette of Secret Invasion, Dormer was seen playing the role of a character named Agent Prescott. There is not a lot of information about the character yet, but he is seen speaking to Martin Freeman’s Everett Ross in the clip, which implies he is either a former S.H.I.E.L.D agent, or someone working for the government.

Who is in the cast of MCU’s Secret Invasion?

A number of MCU veterans will be returning in the new Marvel series, along with several newcomers, including Emilia Clarke, who plays G’iah, Talos’ daughter. G’iah was last seen as a child in the MCU film Captain Marvel (2019).

MCU alums who will be seen in Secret Invasion: Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Don Cheadle as James “Rhodey” Rhodes, and Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross.

What is the release date for Marvel’s Secret Invasion?

Marvel’s Secret Invasion will be released on Disney Plus later this year on June 21, 2023.
