Filming for Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is moving very swiftly, as evident from the frequent leaks we’re witnessing with every passing day. Though HBO has been mum about revealing any more info about the show, these periodic leaks are causing waves of excitement amongst the fans, as they’re left wondering and speculating who’s who in the new set pictures. Recently, a few more pictures were leaked, one of them showed Milly Alcock, dressed as a young Rhaenyra Targaryen, being accompanied by a Kingsguard member.

Since she is not heavily guarded, we can assume Rhaenyra Targaryen is in safe territory, and she’s just taking a break from dragon riding to ride a horse. Many fans have claimed the member of the Kingsguard seen accompanying her in the picture is none other than Ser Criston Cole, played by Fabien Frankel.

There were rumours about a fling between Rhaenyra and Criston Cole during their younger days in the Fire and Blood books, but neither of them went ahead with it. It is one of the reasons why Cole decided to side with Alicent Hightower during the Dance of the Dragons.

The year 2021 has been an exceptional one for Game of Thrones fans all over the world. The show ended about two years ago, and HBO is keen on continuing the legacy of the fantastical universe. House of The Dragon is already on its wheels; the first prequel that will be aired in 2022. The series was teased in HBO’s amazing programming line-up for 2021-22. The casting for various key characters has already been done. With the tables all set, the television giant is already looking forward to expanding the Game of Thrones universe. It seems like wooing their lost audience back is their top priority.

Recently, HBO changed the official description of Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon on their dedicated webpage. The description now reads,

holywell-beach-filming-6464534

Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, which is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen.

Earlier, the official website said the prequel series will be set 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones, which by lore, was quite incorrect, as pointed by many fans.

Though filming for the show is going on at a swift pace, the production might take some time because of reshoots and corrections in the VFX effects.

Hopefully, the show will be here not too far into 2022. Are you excited about House of The Dragon? Talk to us in the comments below!

Filming for Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is moving rather swiftly, and we might see George R. R. Martin’s prediction about the series’ release come to fruition. Various cast and crew members have been spotted by locals and reporters quite recently, despite HBO’s best efforts to keep the filming under the veil. The cast and the crew were spotted in Aldershot, and locals are leaking out quite a few details about the set.

In the most recent leaks from the set in Aldershot, fans have spotted a carriage bearing the sigil of House Strong. House Strong was already confirmed by HBO earlier last month when HBO released information about new additions to the cast, which included Ser Harwin ‘Breakbones’ Strong played by Ryan Corr, Larys Strong played by Matthew Needham, and Lord Lyonel Strong played by Gavin Spokes.

Game of Thrones during its run changed lives around the globe. Not only did it turn out to be a profitable venture for all involved it also boosted the economies! Apparently, Thrones over the years added approximately £250m to Northern Ireland’s economy. Titanic Studios in Belfast, home to HBO’s base of operations for Game of Thrones for nearly 10 years, is on sale now, which marks the end of an era for the place.

Located on Queens Road, the studio’s neighbors include The Painthall Studio, TEC Belfast, Amazon Distribution Hub, The Innovation Centre, Science Park, Arc Apartments, Premier Inn, PRONI Office, Citi Bank HQ, and Olympic House which is currently under construction. According to Irishnews, specialist commercial property consultant Riddell McKibbin announced the listing on Friday. The building includes what is known as MacQuitty and Hurst Stages set within a huge standalone steel portal framed building.

It is situated directly adjacent to the Titanic slipway and Victoria Wharf on the eastern side of the River Lagan, where it meets Belfast Lough. Mark Riddell, Director at Riddell McKibbin commented: “This is a truly unique space and there will be no doubt much excitement as this studio, now known all over the world due to shows filmed here, comes to the market. The studio is a once-in-a-lifetime investment opportunity for any purchaser and so we would not expect this to remain on the market for long.”

Let’s hope the studio will land in the right hands and will be taken care of properly. Talk to us in the comments below!

Game of Thrones had a massive impact on the fantasy genre, playing into several myths and legends inside its universe. Blood was shed, kings were crowned and prophecies were made, all in the name of the one true king. However, not all of the prophecies came to pass, and fans have been scratching their heads for a long time trying to figure out what they meant (or if they even meant anything at all). HBO has finally decided to put to rest one of such intriguing mysteries about the show, that is, who really was ‘The Prince That Was Promised’.

Recently, the Game of Thrones Official Facebook page posted an image of Jon Snow, ascribing the designations he has held in the series. Lord Snow. 998th Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch. King in the North. The Bastard of Winterfell. And… Wait for it… “The Prince That Was Promised”.

Fans have been speculating for long who really was the Prince or Princess who was promised, and this post finally puts to rest all the conspiracy theories about who it was meant to be. It was prophesized in the show that the promised prince/princess would play an important role in the final war, and would be a messianic figure destined to save the world from the coming of the Others.

Do you think the declaration satisfies all the criteria of the prophecy? Talk to us in the comments below!

The production for Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon is in full swing. We’re receiving updates about the filming currently going on in the Portuguese city of stone, Monsanto, via leaks that are reported every other day. Former Doctor Who Matt Smith is playing the role of Prince Daemon Targaryen on the show, one of the key players in the story of House of The Dragon. And his dragon, Caraxes, is going to be one of the meanest, biggest, and baddest beasts in the series.

Smith, in his recent appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, talked about various aspects of the Game of Thrones prequel, including the release date of the highly anticipated Game of Thrones prequel. As expected, he was tight-lipped and did not dive much into the details, but he did leave a hint for the fans who are waiting impatiently for the series to finally be here. Smith revealed in the podcast:

“We’ve been doing it since March, and I finish in January. It’s tough, it’s a long shoot.”

What does this mean for House of The Dragon? Matt Smith is playing one of the most important characters in the series. If you’ve been following the leaks for the past few months, you will know there’s one person who has been spotted at almost all the filming locations, and that is Matt Smith. We also know that the prequel is going to be a multi-seasoned show, and if we go by the source material Smith’s Daemon Targaryen isn’t supposed to die this early. So we can make an intelligent guess the filming for the first season won’t go on for long after he finishes in January.

When do you think House of The Dragon will arrive? Will it be by mid-2022 or towards the end? Tell us in the comments below!

Game of Thrones was a memorable experience for both the fans and the show’s crew. Rarely do we see a TV show achieve massive popularity as Game of Thrones did in the last decade. Many of the show’s crew have moved on to new projects, including showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. They are working on a new sci-fi Netflix fantasy the Three-Body Problem, and the show has cast two notable Game of Thrones alums.

Netflix’s 3 Body Problem, a series adaptation of Liu Cixin’s sci-fi trilogy, has set a cast of 12 actors including Benedict Wong (Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness), Tsai Chin (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), and Game of Thrones alums John Bradley and Liam Cunningham. Also joining the cast are Jovan Adepo (When They See Us), Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver), Jess Hong (Inked: The Brokenwood Mysteries), Marlo Kelly (Dare Me), Alex Sharp (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time), Sea Shimooka (Arrow), Zine Tseng and Saamer Usmani (The Mauritanian).

3 Body Problem is a sci-fi fantasy series inspired by Liu’s epic science fiction trilogy, which tells the story of what happens when humanity discovers that we are not alone in the universe. The first book tells the story of Ye Wenjie, who, following her father’s death at the hands of the Red Guards during the Cultural Revolution, attempts to help aliens invade Earth, while different factions on Earth plan different ways of welcoming the extra-terrestrials. It originally was serialized in Science Fiction World in 2006 before being published in 2008.

Videos games have been a part of pop culture ever since they were introduced about half-a-century ago. Many of them have become so popular, they have been converted into films and TV shows, the most recent example being HBO’s TV adaptation, The Last of Us. It is one of the most ambitious shows being filmed currently by the streaming giant, whose budget even exceeds that of the Emmy-winning juggernaut Game of Thrones. And fans are getting really excited about the series, as pictures from the set are leaking all over the internet.

For the first time since the production began, we have a full costumed look at Joel, played by none other than Game of Thrones alum Pedro Pascal.

Ramsey plays the young survivor Ellie whose blood could be the cure to the said pandemic, while Pascal is the hardened survivor Joel tasked with smuggling Ellie across the US.

Game of Thrones stars have spread their wings and made their mark in the filming industry with their amazing talent. We can find them regularly appearing on other popular shows and films, providing the fans with a nostalgic and warm feeling from their time on Game of Thrones. Richard Madden and Kit Harington have been cast in important roles in Marvel Cinematic Universe’s upcoming movie Eternals. Their co-star Emilia Clarke will soon be joining them in a yet non-disclosed role in Marvel’s Secret Invasion. Clarke has landed another important role recently, in the biopic McCarthy.

The film will take a look at demagogic US senator Joseph McCarthy, who drove the anti-communist doctrine known as McCarthyism, in the US in the 1950s. It will also explore what drove the lawyer and decorated former US Marine down a path that led to show-trials and venomous populism.

Clarke will take on the role of McCarthy’s politically ambitious wife Jean Kerr opposite Man of Steel’s Michael Shannon, who plays the titular role.

The saga of Joe McCarthy is timeless and the drama behind his rise to power, sobering,” producer Zach Studin said (via Deadline). “It is a powerful reminder to us all that truth and facts are the lifeblood of a free and open society.”

Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is one of the high-priority projects at HBO currently underway. The production is moving swiftly despite hitting some minor obstacles along the way, as indicated by the regular leaks occurring all over the internet. A few weeks ago, the House of The Dragon team had to take a temporary break from filming in the Spanish city of Caceres as an important crew member fell ill due to coronavirus. We finally have some news regarding the filming of the scenes in the area, and also more news from other sites.

House of The Dragon will resume filming in Caceres from November 3, 2021, according to a report by the Spanish newspaper Hoy. HBO contacted the extras the very same day the case was reported and informed them that the recording will take place at the beginning of November, on the 3rd theoretically. The case does not seem very serious, since the cancellation of the last day of filming in Cáceres did not seem to affect the rest of the locations. However, we still await further news from Monsanto about the filming, though some of the prequel’s stars have been spotted in the Portuguese city.

It seems like the vestiges of the terror that hit us in the wretched year 2020 are still haunting us to this day. Game of Thrones alum Jason Momoa, famous for playing Khal Drogo on the show, and also for playing the DC superhero Aquaman, has tested positive for coronavirus, soon after the London premiere of his latest film Dune.

The actor on his Instagram said that he “got hit with COVID” after going to the London premiere of Dune and spending time with a large number of people.

I got hit with COVID right after the premiere. There was a lot of people I met in England, so got a lot of aloha from people. And who knows?” how he got it, Jason said Friday, as per People magazine.

The 42-year-old star added that “either way, I`m doing fine. Thank you for all your concerns and love,” he said. “And, yeah, I`m just camped out in my house. Mahalo for all the love and support.”

He further shared that he is isolating with his roommate- skateboarder Erik Ellington.

Everyone wants to know how COVID is going, it’s going pretty good,” he said in another update, as he filmed Ellington doing tricks on his skateboard through the house. “Yeah, we`re having a ball,” Jason said with a laugh, as per People magazine.

The actor has not yet confirmed if he was vaccinated against COVID-19.

Let’s hope he recovers from the infection speedily. Send in your well wishes in the comments below!
