Kit Harington explains why watching Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon might be a bit painful for him
Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is on its way, and we might get more glimpses of the highly awaited series very soon. Fans have huge expectations from the show, as HBO is leaving no stones unturned to make the series another great hit. However, after the shocking finale of Game of Thrones, people have varied opinions. Some find it difficult to believe House of The Dragon has the potential to be as good as Game of Thrones. Others feel the prequel might just be the next big thing on TV. And then there’s Game of Thrones star Kit Harington, who says it would be painful to watch the Game of Thrones prequel.
In an interview with Insider, the actor explained, “There’s emotion connected to that for me. I think to see people get into outfits and costumes, that resemble what we wore for all those years, and it [has] the same music and style and tone, but not be in it is always going to feel — There’s going to be a rawness there.”
“Of course, I’m going to watch it and I’m going to support [co-showrunner] Miguel [Sapochnik], who’s helming the show,” Harington added. “I wish them all the best, but it’s so close to my heart, that story, that, of course, there might be a bit of pain there.”
