Iain Glen says Game Of Thrones Season 8 will have feature length episodes and monumental set pieces

The final season of Game of Thrones is on its way in the first half of 2019 and all of us are craving to know what it brings for us. Which character will die in Game of Thrones and who will survive? What was the relevance of the opening scene of the series? – There are hundreds of questions in our heads. As teased by many cast members Season 8 will truly be heartbreaking for us all. Recently, Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont) talked with the Express and revealed an emotional ending of Game of Thrones.
Even the last month Iain had teased some “good stuff” for Jorah and Daenerys in the final season and also, how satisfied he was with his character arc. Well, in an interview with the Express this time he revealed:
“The final scripts are really special…“We all sat down for the read-through of six feature-length episodes…They took longer to film, cost more, and a more surprising…Read like the six best scripts [with] monumental set pieces.”
When asked what it was like being on the set for the final day of the shoot, the actor replied:
“It was very emotional. Game of Thrones will stick with us all forever and we were very lucky to have been a part of the show…The reality won’t sink in until it comes to next year when we should be filming, but we’re not.”
More recently, Iain also talked aboutsome big scenes in the near future. He revealed huge set pieces in the final season, describing them as “monumental set pieces” and also said that most of the cast members were “together for lots of it”. Talking about what it’s been like to play Jorah on the show, Iain ended by saying:
“It allowed me to travel all the world…I am one of the lucky ones who made it through!”
What did he mean by saying “I am one of the lucky ones who made it through!” Will he be one of the survivors of the story of Game of Thrones or does his character die before the final episode of the series?
We can’t decide what will be the fate of Ser Jorah Mormont in the final season of Game of Thrones. What do you think? Tell us in the comments.
