House of The Dragon’s Olivia Cooke to star in upcoming horror flick ‘Visitation’

Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon was the biggest blockbuster show of 2022, and has managed to impress fans and critics alike. So far it has checked out all the parameters that its predecessor had established, one of the best examples being the casting choices for the series. Actress Olivia Cooke has done a tremendously amazing job portraying an adult Alicent Hightower, and is definitely one of the brightest gems in House of The Dragon’s acting roster, having starred in movies like Ready Player One. Cooke is already looking forward to expanding her vibrant portfolio, this time with a horror flick.
Olivia Cooke has been signed in to lead the upcoming horror film Visitation. Directed by Nicolas Pesce (The Eyes of My Mother), the film tells the story of a 14-year-old girl named Maria who, with her mother sick and dying, is sent away to live under the careful watch of Catholic nuns. But Maria’s arrival slowly turns sinister as one of her caretakers becomes enamored with her for all the wrong reasons.
The cast of Visitation also includes Game of Thrones vet Alfie Allen and Downton Abbey’s Penelope Wilton. The script has been written by Helen Gaughran.
