House of The Dragon: New leaks show Alicent Hightower’s carriage being chased down by Targaryen soldiers, and more!
Lights, Camera, and… Action! Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon has begun filming in the Spanish castle of Trujillo. The shooting of the high-budget HBO fantasy was supposed to begin in the Portuguese stone city Monsanto from 26th this month, but has been postponed as an important crew member fell sick due to COVID-19 in Caceres. Several pictures from the set are already leaking out on social media platforms, as curious locals try to capture a sneak peek at the set. Fans have been speculating for a long time about who’s who in the upcoming prequel series, and we have the answer to most of them. Recently a few clips and pictures from the set of House of The Dragon in Trujillo were leaked, and we noticed some interesting developments taking place in some of them.
In a clip provided by Portal House of The Dragon Brasil, we can see Queen Alicent Hightower’s carriage being pulled off at a fast pace, and two Targaryen soldiers in high pursuit. While it might be just that they are simply escorting the queen, it is for the readers to speculate.

The clip also shows several other details of the set, such as the inside of King’s Landing. A costumed character in long black robes seems to be inspecting the market, though we don’t know who it is.
