Here's the little detail you might've missed in that picture of Daenerys sitting on Drogon

Game of Thrones had a good run with Season 6. Season 7, as we all know, has been on a delayed schedule than usual, and as such, we still have about 8 weeks to go before it premieres, on July 16th. Now, HBO has been rolling out official Season 7 material to us, and as we reported, they recently unveiled new official photos from Game of Thrones Season 7, including one that shows Daenerys Targaryen riding Drogon. Fans have now found a detail in that particular picture that went unnoticed!

In case you don’t know which picture we are talking about, check out below :

Now, we can’t tell it from the first look, but thanks to Game of Thrones fan, Redditor imtechpro, who zoomed in on the picture, and discovered an interesting thing in the background. Specifically two soldiers fighting. Check it out, below:

Yes, it’s a Dothraki soldier fighting a Lannister. In the picture, you can see one guy with a Dothraki weapon, while the other guy is dressed in red and silver. It’s not really clear from that image, since the detail is lost in the zoom.

However, we have a (sort of) confirmation on this now, in the trailer for Season 7 that HBO just released. The trailer has clear footage of the Dothraki fighting the Lannisters. Check out this photo from the trailer, below:

The following scene must be from the same battle sequence where the Dothraki are slaughtering the Lannisters.

It looks like the Dothraki are kicking the crap out of the Lions and even the Unsullied are not far behind as they are doing the same thing at Casterly Rock. The two details just add up to prove that we will be seeing a Cersei v/s Daenerys showdown this coming season. Who do you think will win? Will Dany’s Unsullied and Dothrakis defeat the Lannister army and let Daenerys get to Cersei? Or will something else happen? Tell us in the comments, down below!
