As HBO works on expanding the Game of Thrones Universe, fans are constantly speculating about which actors should be cast for the roles in the upcoming Game of Thrones spinoffs. Among the names that frequently appear on these lists is none other than Henry Cavill, a darling among fans of fantasy shows.

Many fans were dejected after finding out that Cavill was leaving The Witcher. To make things worse, his role Clark Kent came to an end when James Gunn decided to reboot the Superman series, and there has been a constant demand among fans that Henry Cavill should play a Westerosi character. A number of fans want Cavill to play the role of Aegon the Conqueror in the upcoming spinoff about Aegon’s Conquest. Interestingly, Cavill shared his thoughts about this topic when he appeared on the Happy Sad Confused podcast and addressed the issue.

He said, “To be fair, when I was watching House of the Dragon, I was like ‘I feel like a lot of these guys could make really good Witchers.” I think it would be cool to be in Westeros, I really do. I don’t think there’s a place for me in there, though.”

Many fans will be sad knowing that Henry Cavill won’t be joining the Game of Thrones universe anytime soon but that doesn’t stop them from making speculations and even creating hilarious memes where Henry Cavill is cast as different Game of Thrones characters.
