HBO announces Game Of Thrones Season 8 premiere date with a new teaser
It’s time to rejoice! After waiting for what feels like an eternity, Game Of Thrones fans finally know when the final season is going to air. The wait has been excruciatingly long as we had watched the season 7 finale on 27th August 2017! Now, we will have to wait for another 3 months to watch the season 8 premiere as HBO has just announced that Game Of Thrones Season 8 premieres on 14th April and they even released a teaser along with it!
We know that season 8 will have 6 feature-length episodes and now that the first episode is releasing on 14th April, it means that the season 8 finale will air on 19th May and I am not ready to accept that in just 4 months our favourite show will end forever, which makes me feel sad.
Watching the teaser titled “Crypts of Winterfell” gave me chills as we see Jon, Sansa and Arya walking in the Crypts underneath Winterfell and they find out that their statues are also present in the crypts, which means that they are dead and at that moment, a cold mist starts spreading in the crypts, indicating that the White Walkers have arrived in Winterfell and the teaser ends with the Game Of Thrones Season 8 premiere date.
Take a look at the teaser below:
While you wait for the premiere of Game of Thrones Season 8, we bring you some great news! Con of Thrones – which is being awaited by all fans for the year 2019 has been announced the date and venue and is going to be a total gig with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau – Jaime Lannister joining you to celebrate the epic fantasy world of George RR Martin.
Con of Thrones announced this on January 25, sharing on their Twitter handle. The joint venture of Fandom and Watchers on the Wall – which celebrates Game of Thrones, A World of Ice and Fire, and the worlds created by George R.R. Martin – will be taking place at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee from July 12–14, 2019.
Jaime Lannister sends his regards. Meet the Kingslayer in Nashville this summer! @nikolajcw will be at Con of Thrones 2019 on Saturday and Sunday, so reserve your autograph and photograph sessions now! https://t.co/xLd3Vfx0Xx pic.twitter.com/mVjKFILN2H

This is the first time they are bringing in Nikolaj who will be exclusively available on July 14 and more guests are still awaited for the event! The fans can register themselves for the three-day-event here.
There are five options for the ticket to choose from but a sixth one called ‘Kingslayer pass’ is available too for July 14, Sunday – the day when Nikolaj will be joining the panel. Moreover, this pass will also guarantee you an autograph and photograph with the actor along with a seat reserved during the interview session.
So, how many of you will cosplay your favourite character and are ready for this grand event? Tell us in the comments section.
“Winter is Coming” and it’s truly and officially coming on April 14. But, ahead of Game of Thrones Season 8, Finland welcomes you to a spooky Game of Thrones-themed ice hotel – make sure you are well equipped with dragonglass!
Located in Finnish Lapland near Kittilä, this hotel has been opened up by Lapland Hotels Snowvillage in collaboration with HBO Nordic. This hotel was built in just five weeks and this year, all the suites of this hotel were designed by sculptors from Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, and Finland.
Equipped with a total of 16 suites – each one with a different sculpture on its wall both cosy as well as a spooky sleep with a warmer temperature of 23 degrees as compared to outside where the average temperature is nearly 10 degrees.
A bunch of other images are down here like the first one which reveals an icy tunnel entrance to the main hall batched up a number of house banners from Westeros – Targaryen, Baratheon, Stark, Tully, and others.
An icy feast table which will remind you of Cersei Lannister’s small council – make sure they serve you some good ale and the Hound’s f*cking chickens.
Next, are the skull of Balerion the Dread, which you probably saw in Season 7 under the Red Keep and a replica of the Sept of Baelor which sadly exists no more – all thanks to the Mad Queen Cersei Lannister!
The entry fee for the snow hotel is $20 and each suite will cost you around $550 and the entries will remain open through April 21, 2019. So, how many of you would like to visit this amazing Game of Thrones-themed ice hotel of Finland? Tell us in the comments.
Game of Thrones Season 8 is right around the corner with just less than 3 months left in it to air now that the month of January is almost over. And, it’s a confirmed thing that we are actually getting a full-length trailer of the final season of the series – all thanks to James Hibberd from Entertainment Weekly who has previously given us a lot of details about it. Talking about a full-length trailer, we’ve got you all another bigger update which suggests that each episode of the series is actually longer than or equal to 60 minutes. Read on.
Winter is almost upon us – literally, we’re facing the last of it yet, jokes apart, we now have lesser time to wait for it. And, the great news is that Orange Cinema – the French TV network which airs the series on television in France has revealed the episodes of the new season to be of feature-length which in their words are “XXL”.
Well, reading French for any of us will be a difficult thing which is why Winter is Coming broke it down for all of us – a special shoutout to them! What Premiere tweeted was that HBO has revealed to them that the first two episodes of the new season will be 60 minutes long each and the final four over 80 minutes – similar to the last episode ‘The Dragon and the Wolf’ from the seventh season.
We are totally sure that we will get an official announcement to confirm the same from HBO sooner or later. And, this is totally giving us vibes that we will have the best from Game of Thrones this time as the showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss have promised us. Till then, let’s sail on the tide of speculations about each of the episodes if this news is actually to be believed!
What were your thoughts on possible reveal of the length of the final six episodes of Game of Thrones and how excited did this information make you? Tell us in the comments section down below.
