The impact of the coronavirus pandemic has not let new productions begin for a while now. And it could take some more time before things start to move around. But it hasn’t stopped the filmmakers, producers, and actors from envisioning future projects. We have seen a few deals being cracked in the virtual film market. Now, there’s one more, and it looks like a helluva adventure. Game of Thrones stars Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) and Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo) have teamed up as actors and producers for a supernatural drama called Good Bad & Undead. Read on to find out more.

As per Deadline, Legendary, the American film production company, has brought Peter and Jason on board for the film which will have Max Barbakow donning the director’s hat. The report provided a brief description of the film, “In Good Bad & Undead, Dinklage will play Van Helsing, last in a long line of vampire hunters. He develops an uneasy partnership with a vampire (Momoa) who has taken a vow never to kill again. Together, they run a scam from town to town, where Van Helsing pretends to vanquish the vampire for money. But when a massive bounty is put on the vampire’s head, everything in this dangerous world full of monsters and magic is now after them.” Moreover, the report believes that the premise gives a vibe of the action-comedy Midnight Run in a world of Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

The film stems from an original idea by Mark Swift and Damian Shannon; it’s most likely that the duo will write the screenplay as well. They have previously written hit movies like Friday the 13th, and Freddy vs. Jason. The director, Max Barbakow comes fresh off the record-breaking purchase of his film, Palm Springs at the Sundance Film Festival in January, 2020. His other film credits include the dark comedy, The Duke, and the autobiographical documentary, Mommy, I’m a Bastard!

Peter Dinklage and Jason Momoa played such memorable roles on Game of Thrones yet never shared screen space on the show. Their mutual connection was the Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen; for whom both devoted their loyalties in their own different ways. The two actors have done very well for themselves apart from the show. Peter won multiple awards for his GoT performance as Tyrion Lannister through the entire run of the show; he also starred in successful films like Avengers: Infinity War, X-Men: Days of Future Past, My Dinner with Hervé. He will produce Good Bad & Undead with David Ginsberg via their production company, Estuary Films.

Jason Momoa, however, worked on GoT only for the first season. Yet his portrayal of Khal Drogo won over so many people that he has remained a memorable icon of the biggest show on the planet. The American actor seems to be on a roll lately. We have just heard that The Snyder Cut of Justice League will release on HBO Max in 2021. His stint as Aquaman established DC at the box office like no other title before; (yes, not even The Dark Knight Rises!). He has been involved with some exciting projects and rumored for a few others. With upcoming films like Dune and Aquaman 2, he looks set for big things.
