Game of Thrones star Carice van Houten to attend Middle East Film and Comic Con (MEFCC) 2020 Dubai

Game of Thrones actors have been making waves everywhere since the show’s run has ended last year. They have been rocking the awards everywhere including the Oscars. As per the latest news, a certain Game of Thrones star is all set to grace another big event and we are very excited. Read on to find out more!
As per the Gulf News, Carice van Houten who played the role of Melisandre on the show is all set to grace the Middle East Film and Comic Con (MEFCC) 2020. The event is going to take place in Dubai from March 5-7 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Houten recently came into the news when she cancelled her television show appearance in Belgium. On the professional front, she has purchased rights to a Holocaust story about female Jewish rescuers and will produce the film along with her business partner, Halina Reijn.
Houten, of course, hit the limelight after her fantastic portrayal of Melisandre in Game of Thrones. It was a small but significant role and she really added a different element to the epic saga. It would be exciting to see her work choice after Thrones.
