Game of Thrones has had a lot of iconic characters over the years, but if we’re speaking in terms of physical strength, The Mountain wins without a doubt. Snapping back to the real world, the actor who plays The MountainHafþór Júlíus Björnsson, is a strongman himself. We know about his dedication, from his strongman days, when he was crowned the world’s strongest man, and now he’s training in the boxing circuit. He has been endorsing several renowned brands in his free time, and one of them includes the new game Age of Empires 4. And the way he promoted it was one hell of a watch.

Xbox Game Studios invited special guests including Game of Thrones actor Hafþor Bjornsson to celebrate the imminent launch of Age of Empires 4. As Xbox Game Studios has stated before, it really wants people to know there are Trebuchets in the upcoming Age of Empires 4. The game was launched back in October, and the Mountain was invited to endorse the event in a special way.

The 6ft 9in strongman-turned-actor/boxer is also a former basketball player. As such, Xbox UK wanted to see how their trebuchet stacked up against one of the mightiest men on Earth. Xbox’s Charleyy Hodson asked Bjornsson to throw a basketball as far as his muscles could manage. He was able to propel the ball an impressive 149 feet. The Trebuchet, however, blew him out of the water by hurling the ball an incredible 201 feet.

Have you played Age of Empires IV yet? Do you think the trebuchets are more impressive than the Mountain himself? Tell us in the comments below!
