First look at Game of Thrones showrunner’s upcoming Netflix film Metal Lords
Game of Thrones boasted a host of highly talented artists who came together to make the show the wonder that we know today. From the showrunners to the directors, actors, crew, everyone did a great job and left a permanent mark on the television industry. Most of the talent associated with the group has moved on to newer projects, including the showrunners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. The two have been experimenting with new projects, and Weiss has been working on a film that will greatly please metal heads all over the world.
D. B. Weiss’ new Netflix film, Metal Lords, recently released a number of first look photos, and it looks as thrilling as any band movie should be.

The main characters are played by Jaeden Martell (Knives Out), Adrian Greensmith (Harlan Coben’s Shelter) and Isis Hainsworth (Wanderlust). The official synopsis of the film reads:
Greensmith’s Hunter doesn’t fit in with the other kids at Glenwood Lake High. He worships bands of a forgotten era like Anthrax, Megadeth, Slipknot, and Black Sabbath, while the popular kids are performing covers of Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” and Imagine Dragons’ “Believer.” Metal is Hunter’s outlet through which he can release his rage towards his disinterested father (Brett Gelman) and the bullies at school.
