Emilia Clarke on Game of Thrones Season 8 security measures: Social media ban and multiple endings
Game of Thrones is a show that is so popular, it’s famous for being there most pirated show, ever. Now, over the years we’ve seen a lot of leaks that have had to do with the show, ranging from little bits to entire scripts and plots, and even episodes.
For Season 7, we saw the number of leaks that emerged, making it the most leaked Season yet, and it’s natural that HBO is trying everything to make sure Season 8 doesn’t suffer the same fate. In a recent interview with The Telegraph, Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) discussed the the security measures for Season 8, and more. Read on!
Speaking of the restrictions this year, Emilia said :
“We have a very strict social-media ban this year, because people need to stop spoiling it for everyone. It’s really frustrating.”
That’s not all. Emilia also says that nobody really knows the ending of the show because the showrunners, David Benioff and Dan Weiss, have written multiple endings for the show :
“None of the cast know what the actual ending is. If there’s ever a leak of any kind, don’t believe it because it’s probably not true.”
