During the press conference for the film, the director remembered the Rigg’s legacy and paid an emotional tribute to the Game of Thrones alum. “It’s difficult to extricate the movie from working with her now because the thought of the movie was quite interesting, very emotional experience to conceive and make, and now that’s all tied up with the fact that Diana is not with us anymore,” Wright said. “In those situations where it’s desperately sad, I won’t to get to have another gossipy branch with Diana Rigg. The only thing I can take away from it is like how lucky I was to work with her and know her.”

“She’s such a professional and really prided herself on that,” he said. “When we were told that she needed to finish very urgently, we knew what that meant without asking any more. We’re all so incredibly fortunate to have known her and worked with her.”

Diana was an amazing soul and her presence will always be felt in her breathtaking performances. Let us remember the great actress in our thoughts and do leave a comment below!

Kit Harington is a household name today, thanks to his success as Game of ThronesJon Snow. Jon Snow was a selfless, righteousness and brave hero in the series, with a tone of seriousness in his voice. He would almost always relinquish any honours or titles he received in the series, saying, “I don’t want it.” It seems like Kit Harington has said his famous line quite often, off-screen as well.

The former Game of Thrones star told Total Film magazine he passed up on an unknown superhero role while filming for Game of Thrones. He said, “You know, the comic-book and superhero world has called once before, and I didn’t like the role and the part and the time to do it.”

Harington revealed. “So I turned it down. And then this one [in Eternals] felt right to me. I liked that the character they were offering was not necessarily an Eternal. He was human. I did like that. I felt that I could do something with that, that he came with all these human faults. So it was the character that drew me to it, as well as it being the MCU, and how exciting.”

“I won’t mention what it was, but yeah, there was one other [superhero movie] that I did turn down a while ago,” Harington said. “It was a while ago, as well – just because it didn’t feel like the right thing at the right time. And I think I was right to. My head was very in the Jon Snow world then.”

Game of Thrones had a number of memorable characters, and some of them, though appeared for a short time on-screen, left an everlasting impression on the audience’s mind. The recently Emmy-nominated actress Hannah Waddingham played the famous ‘Shame’ nun in Cersei’s walk of atonement on the show, and she loved every second of it.

On Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Waddingham said most people don’t recognize her from the role.

That was my finest, prettiest hour,” the actress joked. “I mean, they are right, left and centre now, and thankfully, everyone’s shocked,” she added of the audience. “So that’s good.”

Waddingham’s costume, which resembled a nun’s costume, obscured most of her body except for her face.

I loved it, because it meant I could just sit sleeping in the trailer for hours on end, look like I’d been dug up, and they’d say, ‘Yeah, that looks great,’” she said.

Waddingham said she and Headey developed a friendship on set, despite their characters hating one another.

We met on [set] and just fell in love with each other immediately,” Waddingham said. “I just think sometimes you meet what we call in England, birds … and you’re just like, yeah, you’re a bird, I’m a bird, that’s it, we’re in.”

Game of Thrones is one of the most popular shows of all time, there’s hardly anyone on this planet who hasn’t heard of the show. The upcoming prequel House of The Dragon is on the way, and fans all over the world are already hyped up about it. While some of us have already started a rewatch of the epic fantasy series to gear up for the prequel show, singer Shawn Mendes is already a step ahead of everyone else. In a recent appearance on the Spout podcast, the hit singer talked about his obsession for Game of Thrones, which he developed during the lockdown period.

Describing the homebound months, Shawn said, “It was nice. It really became so important to just walk around. It was nice to feel a part of a home and have that daily routine like that.” Mendes also expressed his love for coffee, which acted as fuel for his exercise. “I was getting really into the coffee mug. I was like waking up in the morning and I was like, ‘What? Which coffee mug am I today? I was getting really technical about it and it was just like everything to me. You know, it was my home. I would go to bed super excited for that moment.”

Talking about using time productively, Mendes explained that while his newest album Summer of Love kept him occupied for the better part of the summer, his Game of Thrones obsession inspired him to take up archery. Fan-boying over the show, Shawn said, “It was the most I’ve ever enjoyed watching TV in my life. So I’m not going to sit here and talk s**t about the final show because in the grand scheme of things that show was mind-blowing.” As for the archery, he added, “I think the real reality is that I struggle to put down the guitar and figure out what to do besides my job and besides music. I’m just completely obsessed with it.”
