Lights, Camera, and… Action! Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon has begun filming at the Spanish castle of Trujillo. The shooting of the high-budget HBO fantasy was supposed to begin in the Portuguese stone city Monsanto from 26th this month, but has been postponed as an important crew member fell sick due to COVID-19 in Caceres. Several pictures from the set are already leaking out on social media platforms, as curious locals try to capture a sneak peek at the set. Fans have been speculating for a long time about who’s who in the upcoming prequel series, and we have the answer to most of them. Recently, a few locals went on a trip to the castle of Monsanto, and luckily for us were able to capture a glimpse of the set being constructed in the City of Stone.
