Sophie Turner says she wants to star in a rom-com with Emma D’Arcy
Now, we want a rom-com with Sophie Turner and Emma D’Arcy ASAP!

Sophie Turner’s separation and eventual divorce from Joe Jonas is old news. The actress is happier now and has moved on to better things. She is often seen on dinner dates and outings with her gal pals, dressed in the prettiest dresses.
Turner is the new St-Germain liqueur ambassador. Promoting the brand and talking about her latest ventures in Hollywood, Turner opened up to Elle Magazine and revealed something exciting about her dream project.

In the promotional videos for the St-Germain liqueur campaign, Turner embraces her romantic comedy main character energy as in Southern France. Oddly, the actress has never done a rom-com before and is eager to be cast in a great love story. Having done projects like Game of Thrones and Dark Phoenix, we have often seen Turner in serious and demanding roles.
It would be a breath of fresh air to see the beautiful actress in a romantic comedy flick. When Elle Magazine asked her who she would cast in her dream rom-com project, Turner answered that she would like to be a part of a queer love story. However, if a love triangle has to be introduced in the same, she claimed,
“Oh my god. Well, since it’s a queer love story, I would probably cast Emma D’Arcy. That would be really fun: Me, Emma D’Arcy, and Billie Eilish. It’s just because I want to hang out with them [and Ayo Edebiri].”

Drawing parallels between Turner’s Sansa and D’Arcy’s Rhaenyra is quite easy since they both play the roles of women who have often been underestimated and overlooked. They are set in the same universe, but in different houses altogether. Rhaenyra is looking to claim her birthright in House of the Dragon whereas Sansa’s journey in Game of Thrones was a more poignant coming-of-age tale.
Nevertheless, Turner’s cast sounds like a dream team that can bring any story to life on screen. Eilish’s music can further enhance the narrative and perhaps even get her another Oscar soon!
