Isaac Hempstead-Wright starrer Voyagers releases its first trailer
Space travel has always been a part of sci-fi fantasy. Humans have been venturing to space for nearly half a century now, making life in space a distant possibility. Many space-themed movies have explored the idea, resulting in some award-winning stories. Lionsgate has officially released its first trailer for sci-fi thriller Voyagers, starring Game of Thrones’ Isaac Hempstead-Wright.
The film revolves around a group of fresh-faced, specially-engineered youths on a mission in space. Colin Farrell plays the role of mentor to these youths. The premise of the Voyagers trailer shows the promise of exploration into deep space. A voiceover indicates that the group of young travellers are drugged against their will.
They’re forced to wean themselves off the mysterious substance referred to as ‘blue‘. They have to find some other way to circumvent its effects. Either way, they start to realize they can feel things — and each other — for the very first time. The new exposure to different sensations proves to be more addictive than anyone could have predicted. Dancing, fighting, and sex (lots of sex) quickly ensue.
Voyagers is set for theatrical release on April 9. Isaac was last seen promoting the latest instalment of the World of Warcraft game. Are you excited about the upcoming sci-fi thriller? Talk to us in the comments below!

Game of Thrones was a platform where real-life social issues were projected, that have been prevailing since medieval times. George R. R. Martin, the creator of the show, showed his support for the LGBTQ groups with the means of various amazing characters throughout the series. He is quite vocal about his support off-screen as well. Martin recently wished his fans all around the world on the occasion of Pride month on his official Twitter account.

There were some who were trolling the veteran author. One pointed out how Martin misspelled Ser as ‘Sir‘. Martin made fun of him by calling him a social media minion.
