Game of Thrones star Kit Harington rose to fame with his role of Jon Snow and has become a household name ever since.  Harington has come a long way ever since, playing iconic roles in several anthology series, and recently made headlines with his role in the MCU movie Eternals. Even though his character Dane Whitman aka The Black Knight’s future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe feels uncertain, and even the actor himself “knows nothing” about it, Harington is making huge progress with the variety of roles he is bagging, the latest one being that of a smuggler.

According to Variety, Harington will be starring in an upcoming action thriller titled Blood for Dust directed by Rod Blackhurst. The cast also includes Scoot McNairy and Josh Lucas. Harington plays the role of a rich illegal weapons dealer.

The plot of the movie sees former friends Cliff (McNairy), a travelling salesman struggling to make ends meet, and Ricky (Harington), a rich illegal weapons dealer, who happen to bump into each other. Hoping to make some quick money to alleviate his money woes, Cliff agrees to partner with the volatile Ricky in a risky job for John (Lucas), and American cartel boss expanding deliveries of drugs and guns across the border.

Reluctantly, Cliff agrees to modify his station wagon to carry drugs across the border, but things soon turn ugly when a seemingly simple exchange goes wrong. Caught in a violent battle with a rival cartel, Cliff is forced to face the harsh reality of his new life.

Kit Harington is also working on a Jon Snow spinoff in collaboration with George R. R. Martin. Are you excited to see Harington in a new role? Talk to us in the comments below!
