Bella Ramsey’s award-winning short ‘Villain’ now available on YouTube

Despite having a brief appearance, Bella Ramsey, who played the brave and impressionable Lyanna Mormont on the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones, captured the hearts of millions of fans. They excelled in yet another thrilling part in the HBO video game adaptation of The Last of Us. Apart from big productions, Ramsey has also been part of several Indie films. One of them, Villain, is now available to watch on YouTube.

What is Villain about?

Gathering several awards and screenings in 2023 such as the Coney Island Film Festival, Indy Shorts, Filmquest, etc. Villain is Sparky Tehnsuko’s directorial endeavor that mixes elements of sci-fi with the supernatural. The official synopsis reads:

“In the countryside of Iron Age Britain, teenage Georgia makes the unwise decision to seek revenge on the dragon that torched her home and killed her mother; however, her mission is upended when she unexpectedly discovers a scaly child in the unfazed beast’s lair.”

Who stars in Villain?

Directed and written by Tehnsuko, Villain stars Game of Thrones alum Bella Ramsey in the lead role as Georgia. Joining them in the short as Sabra is young actress Isla Gie. Villain is produced by Sej Davé and Sparky Tehnsuko and co-produced by Hana Tadafe-Swinscoe. The cinematography is done by Andreas Neo.
