The amazing cast of Game of Thrones has always been a major reason for its success. Not only is the core cast full of talent, but the show has also had an impressive line-up of great celebrity cameos. A lot of cameos have been from musicians, and we have been talking about the next big cameo on the show, for quite a while now. As we had previously reported, the latest cameo we will be getting in Game of Thrones Season 7, will be from Ed Sheeran. Ed had also talked some more about his Season 7 role, and revealed that he will be sharing screen with Maisie Williams, who plays the role of Arya Stark on the show. In a recent interview, he revealed that the scene he appears in won’t really be exciting. Read on!
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Ed Sheeran talked some more about his scene in Game of Thrones, which involves Maisie Williams, and said he felt that it “has been build up too much.” He said :
“I haven’t seen it yet! I just know the scene I did, I did with Maisie, and it’s decent. I like it. Nothing exciting happens in this scene, we just have a conversation and that’s kind of it.”
He went on to say :
“People will just be like, ‘Oh… oh, all right.’ It’s not an integral part of it, at all. I’m just like, in it.”
He also revealed a behind the scenes secret of his filming :
“I didn’t put on my thermal socks and I was outside in the winter in England for about 10 hours. So it was cold.”
So looks like we are going to see a rather cold Ed Sheeran in an apparently boring scene, but hell, we are excited anyway! What about you? Tell us in the comments, down below!

Although the final season of Game of Thrones didn’t receive as much acclaim as their previous seasons, the quality of visual effects remained intact. Even the most ardent critic of the show will not be able to find the fault in the kind of work that went behind the special effects.
Thrones is going to get some tough competition from Disney’s The Mandalorian and other popular shows like Stranger Things. But we reckon Game of Thrones is going to grab at least some wins.
The VES Awards will be held on January 29 at Beverly Hilton Hotel and will be hosted by award-winning actor, comedian, and writer Patton Oswalt.
Well, what do you guys think about the nominations? Write to us in the comments below!
Game of Thrones was one of the most successful TV show ever. Such has been the magnitude of its success that actors who were part of the show seasons ago, are still getting some great work. Of course, some of the actors already had a great body of work before joining the show. One of them was Charles Dance who played the iconic role of Tywin Lannister on the show. We now have an update on Dance’s next big assignment. Read on!
As per Deadline, Dance is going to narrate the Netflix docu-drama Rise of Empires: Ottoman. Dance, who recently starred as Lord Mountbatten in the third season of The Crown, will provide the narration in the original English-language-version of the Netflix show.
Rise of Empires: Ottoman tells the epic 15th-century story of Mehmed II, known as Mehmed the Conqueror, chronicling his astonishing and fabled rise from 13-year-old Child Sultan to toppling Constantinople and becoming the ruler of the Ottoman Empire.
This is going to be another feather in the cap for Dance who has been part of many memorable shows and films in the past. The series is executive produced by Sarah Wetherbee, Kelly McPherson and Emre Sahin of Karga Seven Pictures, and Jada Miranda of STXtv. As per Jada Miranda:
“We’re thrilled to have partnered with Karga Seven and Netflix to bring this cinematic story to life for audiences around the globe.”

Ever since Game of Thrones has completed its run, there have been growing speculations regarding the next offering from the creators and makers of the show. One man who has especially been the center of attraction has been the creator author of Game of Thrones, George R.R. Martin.
We all know that the future of various prequels related to Thrones is dependent on when Martin finishes his next few books, especially The Winds of Winter. The good news is we finally have some updates on the book. Read on!
As per Martin’s very own Not a Blog he has promised in his own unique way that he will finish the Winds of Winter book by Summer of 2020. Martin was invited by New Zealand to visit the country and finish the impending book sooner than later.
On the invitation, Martin wrote in his own style: –
“As for finishing my book… I fear that New Zealand would distract me entirely too much. Best leave me here in Westeros for the nonce. But I tell you this — if I don’t have THE WINDS OF WINTER in hand when I arrive in New Zealand for Worldcon, you have here my formal written permission to imprison me in a small cabin on White Island, overlooking that lake of sulfuric acid, until I’m done.”
It has been a while since Martin has published a book in the main ASOIAF series. In between, books like Fire & Blood, A Clash of Kings, And Death His Legacy have been published. However, with the prequels of announced by HBO and GRRM’s involvement, it remains to be seen if Martin manages to fulfill his promise.
Write to us and let us know if you think George R.R. Martin will complete Winds of Winter in 2020!
