Emilia Clarke hosts virtual dinner for 12 lucky fans that donated to her COVID-19 relief fund
Our world needs a lot of goodness and kindness right now. Speaking of, Game of Thrones actors have been especially very kind since the pandemic outbreak. While somebody like Isaac Hempstead Wright has helped his stepdad distribute the PPE to the health workers, the likes of Sophie Turner has been vocal about the need for social distancing. They haven’t been behind in giving charities as well. Maisie Williams generously gave £50000 to her animal shelter, Emilia Clarke too, has been doing her bit in spreading happiness as well. Read on to know more about it.
As per Independent, Clarke recently hosted a virtual cooking session with her fans and shared the pictures on her Instagram. The 12 fans were the winners of a lucky draw pulled from those that donated to her COVID-19 relief fund. Clarke in her own words had a roaring time and the pictures are proof of it. Check out the post!
Clarke wrote:
“Mid-’my batter looks like it’s thrown upon itself, how about yours?!’ Chat… THIS is how I throw a cookalong party, (in Covid time that IS a thing I swear (full of mess and big arm gestures in lieu of actual cooking knowledge.”
She loved making her food with “12 beautiful souls” and revealed her reason for hosting the cook-along. She wrote further:
“This roaring good time we all had was a thank you for the incredible donations these wonders made towards @sameyouorg Covid Relief fund.”
Clarke had launched her charity SameYou in 2019 which looks after the adults who have suffered strokes and brain injuries. She especially wanted to help the individuals during the pandemic and wanted to raise £250,000 for the same.
We have absolutely loved how active our favorite stars have been in these trying times. Clarke has been especially associated with multiple charity events which just goes on to show what a golden heart she is.
