Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon episode 8 marked the debut of actor Ewan Mitchell as the older version of Prince Aemond Targaryen. His performance as the morally grey prince has been praised by both critics and fans alike. One of his most iconic scenes in episode 8 ‘The Lord of The Tides’ was his “Strong boys” toast, which was a mockery of Rhaenyra Targaryen’s children and erupted into a fight. This is the second time Aemond has invoked a skirmish, and there are many more to come in near future.

Here’s what the fans think about Aemond’s “Strong boys” speech:

Loved the episode . Loved the speech. Only set back for me is why did they make him so much taller and older looking than his own brother. I know time warped for the show but did we forget he was a runt?! Other than that I truly enjoy everything about this series!!

According to Fire & Blood, Aemond goes on to look stronger, taller and a bit older than his older brother, Aegon, due to his arduous training regiment, which causes a few to think he is more fit to be the king. Aegon, on the other hand, barely visits the training field, but is more youthful in appearance.
