[SPOILERS] Game of Thrones season 7 plot unfolds, one location at a time!

Published

on

In the recent days we have got lot of information about some new places that we are going to visit in Game of Thrones season 7 and it was confirmed that Castillo de Almodóvar del Río will stand for Highgarden. Cardopolis came out with a lot of pictures from location during filming and there were a lot of extras involved. As speculated, there is going to be a Lannister-Tyrell conflict. Here, have a look at the photos:

“Lion”-hearted Lannisters.

The Tyrells!

There are more photos from the same location that confirm a battle of sorts to take place. Pictures of Jamie Lannister (Nikolaj Coster Waldau ) also did the rounds. Of course, a commander is known by the army he keeps!

On the contrary, Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm) was spotted filming at the Castillo de Almodóvar del Río. Yet this is not the biggest spoiler in this post!

What was most surprising out of the lot was this one picture that stood out and confirmed an entire part of the plot.

The Castillo de Almodóvar del Río had a Lannister flag flying high. As reported by Winter is Coming, it could mean either of the two things. The Lannisters are victorious in the battle against the Tyrells and claim Highgarden as their own OR it could mean that Castillo de Almodóvar del Río actually stands for Casterly Rock.

What leads us astray is Grey Worms presence on the set. According to Watchers on the Wall, Greyworm and Unsullied are not a part of the battle at Highgarden. This could only lead to one possible conclusion i.e. Team Dany attacking the Lannisters while the rejoice over their victory against the Tyrells. It was noted that Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm) wound up early from the Dragonstone sets at Zumaia. This means that he straight headed to establish Daenerys’ authority over Westeros starting with the Lannisters!

The potentiality of Castillo de Almodóvar being a double location, serving both as Casterly Rock and Highgarden is pretty high as it has a vast architectural diversity. Also, with the extras and production props all in one place it would be a big advantage for D&D.
