Game of Thrones star Kit Harington to present an award at the Emmys

Game of Thrones has lined up for a number of award nominations at the Emmys this year, what with the epic season that it has come out with, and not only do we think the show will win many awards, one of the stars from Game of Thrones is set to present one as well. Actor Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, will be onstage for presenting an award at the Emmys this year, Variety reports.

Though Kit Harington was notably absent at the Emmys last year, continuing his gig of keeping secret that Jon Snow was going to return in season 6, it’s surely wonderful to know that he is not only nominated for the category of Best Supporting Actor this year, but will also appear on stage to present an award along with many other popular actors from equally popular shows. Last Sunday, the show won a record 9 Creative Arts Emmys and we just hope that Game of Thrones continues it’s winning streak and creates another Emmy record. At the moment, Game of Thrones has taken it’s Emmy awards tally to 35, which makes it the most Emmy awarded drama ever!

The 68th Emmy Awards will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel in Los Angeles this Sunday.

I count myself so fortunate to be a member of a community that is all about tolerance and diversity, because in no other place would I be standing on a stage like this,” said Dinklage while accepting the award.

He further added, “Ten years of absolute sweat, but 10 years of the most incredible, talented, funniest. Hey, it’s over, I don’t care — I have ever been lucky enough to work with. We did nothing but sweat, we did nothing but laugh. David and Dan, we literally walked through fire and ice for you, literally, and I would do it all again in a heartbeat.
