Maisie Williams' intriguing first look from 'The Owners' revealed

Maisie Williams is on fire these days! Ever since Game of Thrones has finished its run last year, she has stayed in news and all for good reasons. After winning our hearts through her portrayal of Arya Stark in the epic saga, she has signed a couple of biggies and we can’t keep calm! Read on to find out more.

As per Screen Daily, Williams will be soon seen in a horror-thriller movie The Owners. Her first look from the thriller is out and it looks intense. As per the report, Williams will play the role of a young woman who reluctantly agrees to participate in a botched robbery alongside her delinquent, no-hoper boyfriend.

The thriller is has been directed by a French director Julius Berg. It is Berg’s debut film after directing several French TV series, including the Netflix acquired La Forêt and the Netflix Original Osmosis. As per the report, The Owners revolves around a burglary that takes a violent turn when the elderly inhabitants turn the tables on the young intruders.

Well, its quite a leap from Williams isn’t it? Especially since she has already intrigued us with her look from The New Mutants. She seems to be getting a lot of interesting projects and with the kind of range she showed in Thrones, it’s not entirely surprising.

I really would like to see this movie. The Long Night episode of Game of Thrones gave us some insight into how Maisie could do in a horror movie of sorts. I am looking forward to seeing Maisie not only in this film but, the New Mutants movie and the Drama/Comedy 2 Weeks to live. I am seeing her all over the place now. Especially, when I saw her in the Audi Commercial during the superbowl. I had no idea this girl could sing. I guess this is the reason why a girl had to go “West of Westeros”. Who… Read more »

Richard Madden and Kit Harington have been cast in important roles in Marvel Cinematic Universe’s upcoming movie Eternels. Their co-star Emilia Clarke will soon be joining them in a yet non-disclosed role in Marvel’s Secret Invasion. Jacob Anderson has also been stirring up the internet recently with his new roles. A few weeks ago, Anderson made headlines when he joined the cast of Doctor Who in a recurring role. Game of Thrones' Jason Momoa responds to Dave Bautista's buddy-cop movie proposal

It is always fun to watch our favorite stars team up on the screen. Long-time wrestling fans remember Dave Bautista as the 6’4″ hulking who dominated the ring with his awesome physique. He has impressed his fans with his on-screen presence as the Guardians of The Galaxy’s Drax the Destroyer. The wrestler turned actor is looking forward to expanding the variety in his roles, and he wants to do it with none other than his actor friend Jason Momoa.

Bautista met the Game of Thrones alum on the sets of the upcoming sci-fi film Dune, and they quickly became close buddies. He recently posted an idea on his official Twitter account, asking Momoa if he would like to team up for a buddy-cop movie directed by David Leitch.

Momoa quickly responded to his buddy call, making it public on The Late Late Show with James Corden. he said, “I’m not on Twitter, but he literally texted me about four days ago, going, ‘We need to do a buddy cop film.’ We love each other, you know, obviously we met on See, we’re on Dune together, so I said, ‘Absolutely.’ And he’s like, ‘Let’s do it in Hawaii.’ I’m like, ‘Let’s do it.’ I’m like, ‘I got an idea.’ So it’s off to the races now. We’re doing it.”

Hopefully, things will work out for the duo and we might get one of the best action-cop flicks we have ever seen. What do you think about the anticipated team-up? Tell us in the comments below!

Doctor Who adds Game of Thrones Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm) in recurring role

Game of Thrones had an ensemble of the most amazing cast. You can find them frequently in other famous franchises, some even joining big production houses such as the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel’s Eternals is about to drop, starting Game of Thrones’ Kit Harington and Richard Madden. Their co-star Emilia Clarke is soon to follow them. Other than that, another Game of Thrones alum is set to join a famous fictional universe. Jacob Anderson, popular for playing Grey Worm on the show, will be joining the ever sprawling cast of Doctor Who.

Doctor Who is a pop culture icon, entertaining a huge following of fans over decades. Jacob has been cast as the mysterious Vinder, a recurring character who will pop up throughout the series. Vinder will join forces with the Doctor (Jodie Whittaker), Yaz (Mandip Gill) and Dan (John Bishop) as the Time Lord faces her biggest ever adventure battling the forces of evil across time and space.

Details about Vinder are being kept under wraps but according to Jacob, he is ‘adventurous and dynamic. “The Doctor has been a part of my life forever, from watching and rewatching the serials on VHS as a kid and being terrified, to unexpectedly finding my eyes watering when the Tenth Doctor said “I don’t want to go”, I always wanted to live in the Whoniverse,” Jacob shared.

Not only has a lifelong dream of mine now been fulfilled, but to be playing a character as fun, adventurous and dynamic as Vinder is the cherry on top. This is very cool.”
