Maisie Williams reveals she almost missed Game of Thrones auditions for a pig farm trip

Game of Thrones stars are doing extremely well these days. The show has ended, and it seems like the current time for the stars is just to relax and do their thing, especially for the younger cast members. One of the most notable ones of those is Maisie Williams, who played the role of Arya Stark. She recently stopped by at First We Feast’s amazing talk show, Hot Ones, where she talked about almost missing the Game of Thrones auditions for a pig farm trip. Read on!

First of all, if you don’t know what Hot Ones is, let us catch you up. Hot Ones is a YouTube talk show by First We Feast, hosted by Sean Evans. Sean and the guests share chicken wings with hot sauces, and the hot sauces get hotter as the interview progresses. There were some great moments with Maisie, who opted for the vegan cauliflower wings, and made for one of the best episodes of the show yet. Check the full episode out, below:

Speaking of the Game of Thrones auditions, Sean Evans asked Maisie if she really almost missed her Game of Thrones auditions because she didn’t want to miss a class trip to a pig farm:

“Yeah, that’s true. Just really wanted to go on that school trip, but you know, I wouldn’t be here today…you wouldn’t have wanted me on the show if I had gone to that pig farm.”

She also was asked about the pranks that the showrunners pulled on the cast members:

“They told Alfie Allen that he was killed by Bran in a really anticlimactic way and they didn’t tell Isaac they were doing the joke, so then he texted Isaac and Isaac was like, ‘I don’t know what they’re talking about.

They did another one on Kit Harington where they said he got really aggressively mauled on the face and he’d have a huge disfigurement on his beautiful chiseled jaw. That was quite funny, poor guy.”

She also talked about playing Arya left-handed, despite being right-handed herself, in order to stay accurate to the books:

“People would be like, that horse is supposed to be black, not white and getting really upset about the most trivial things, so I was like, guess I’ll have to do this left-handed.”

There were a lot of other great bits in the video as well, and at the end Sean Evans asked Maisie to challenge Sophie to appear as a guest on the show, so let’s keep our fingers crossed.

Emilia Clarke calls Game of Thrones Season 8 backlash flattering, again

Game of Thrones stars have been faced with questions about their reactions about the ending of the show, and they don’t seem to stop. Emilia Clarke, who played Daenerys, has had a very positive response before, calling it flattering, and now she’s called it fragile again, in a recent interview. Read on!

Emilia has previously called previously called the Season 8 backlash “profoundly flattering”, and that seems to have become her go-to answer now, when asked about it. She was recently on This Morning to promote her new film, Last Christmas, where she discussed the backlash that Game of Thrones Season 8 received, repeating her previous comments:

“On every level, it’s just profoundly flattering that people genuinely cared that much and they were with us for that long and that they really, truly believed in it.”

She continued:

“I don’t read anything online really because it doesn’t help my brain, but largely speaking I think people are being really kind about Daenerys and Mother Dragon and backing me up, so that’s lovely.

I don’t think there’s an ending that anyone could’ve written. No matter how many signatures were on any bit of paper, you just can’t and that is really just so flattering.”

Well, what do you guys think? Was your backlash supposed to be flattering? Talk to us in the comments, down below!

Would love to play James Bond in case of a gender switch, says Emilia Clarke

Game of Thrones stars have a lot of opportunities going forward, because of how successful the show was. While Emilia Clarke, who played Daenerys, recently said she doesn’t want to do big franchise projects anymore, there seems to be one franchise that could entice her. Read on!

In a recent interview with Empire, Emilia was asked if she would like to step into the role of James Bond, and she had a very positive response:

“Yeah! Of course! Hell to the yeah.”

She continued:

“James Bond is one of those franchises where it’s never not cool. You could literally make the naffest James Bond in the world and it would still be cool.”

Emilia also reflected on the luxuries that her part on Game of Thrones has fetched her, and how it has motivated her to launch her own production house:

“I’ve had the good fortune of being in this incredible show with this incredible character. And, my goodness, if I were to get stereotyped as the mother of dragons, I could ask for worse. It’s really quite wonderful.”

She went on:

“But what it’s left me with — after 10 years of seeing that, and being a part of that, and of doing quite big movies in my hiatuses and all of those things — is a yearning for a different sort of creative ownership.”

What do you guys think? Would you like to see Emilia as Bond? Talk to us in the comments, down below!

Here’s where Emilia Clarke thinks Drogon went at the end of Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones ended with a bad fate for Emilia Clarke‘s Daenerys Targaryen. We saw Drogon fly off with his mother’s corpse, and we have since then had a question: where did Drogon fly off to? Well, Emilia has a theory about that. Read on!

In the series finale of Game of Thrones, we had to see Jon Snow betray Daenerys, and Drogon, late to the party, rage for a while and then simply fly off with a dead Daenerys. Emilia Clarke recently did a lie detector interview with Vanity Fair, which makes for a pretty great watch. Of course, she discussed Daenerys and her fate at the end of Thrones. Watch the full 18 minute video, below:

She was asked about who her favourite dragon of the three dragon children, to which she replied:

“Drogon is kind of like, he’s my oldest boy, who was the first, really. When the three of them came out, I think he came out first.”

She was then asked if she knew where Drogon was headed, to which she had the best response:

“I’d like to think he went to Hawaii. I know there is a specific place where dragons go [that’s in the books]. Otherwise he’s just roaming the seas. Crying.”

Well, if only Bran the Broken could verify this. What do you guys think? Talk to us in the comments, below!
