Sean Bean discusses the behind the scenes action from the Ned Stark beheading scene

Game of Thrones has had its share of amazing key moments that have defined the show, and moments that even those that aren’t fans of the show tend to know. One such moment is the death of Ned Stark, which had caused quite a buzz in the Thrones fandom. In a recent interview, Sean Bean, who played the role of Ned Stark, revealed some hilarious behind the scenes stories from the day the scene was filmed. Read on!

Bean was recently on the Jonathan Ross Show, where he discussed the behind the scenes shenanigans from the Ned Stark beheading scene, reports The Sun. He recalled:

“[It was] just a normal day, bacon and eggs, stuff like that, cup of tea and that were it.

I was kneeling there, they don’t damage you in any way – they threw my dummy head on the floor.”

Apparently, everybody had quite a lot of fun with the prop head:

“I think I started messing about with it a bit.

And then [the crew] took it a bit further, started throwing it, then started booting it.”

That seems a bit disrespectful to the great Ned Stark, doesn’t it? We would have all loved to see Ned survive and sit on the throne. If only it were that easy! What do you guys think? Talk to us in the comments, down below!

Alfie Allen has the best reaction to everybody asking him about the Game of Thrones ending

Game of Thrones ended after a decade long run, and being everybody’s favourite show, we haven’t stopped talking about the ending, ever since. Many of the recent cast interviews have also had them having to answer questions about the end of the show, and the routine is getting old at this point. Obviously the stars must be tired of it by now, and Alfie Allen (Theon) had the best answer to one such questions. Read on!

Alfie was recently on the red carpet of the premiere of his new film, Jojo Rabbit, where ET asked him what he felt about the ending of Game of Thrones, now that some time has passed. Alfie’s reaction was priceless:

Alfie wrapped it up with only three words:

“I’m over it.”

Well, you heard it folks. Theon is over it, and you should be too.

It’s a given that Alfie is not alone in feeling this way. The stars have moved on to other projects, and are busy promoting those. So it’s a given that being asked about Game of Thrones’ ending while in the middle of these promos has to be at least somewhat annoying.

Kit Harington says he would love to play Severus Snape in a Harry Potter prequel

Now that Game of Thrones is over, the stars of the show are open to doing new projects. While the person that was arguably the lead star of Thrones, Kit Harington (Jon Snow) already has a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he says he would still be down to play Severus Snape in a Harry Potter prequel. Read on!

Kit was recently at the ACE Comic Con, and like we reported, he discussed his entry into the MCU. However, Kit also talked about another big fandom he loves, and that is Harry Potter. Speaking of houses, he said he believed Jon Snow was a Hufflepuff, but has a different choice for his own self:

“I am a Gryffindor. I’ve thought very deeply about it.”

He also revealed that his favourite from the series was either Prisoner or Azkaban, or Goblet of Fire. The conversation then moved to whether Kit would be open to starring in a prequel film surrounding the Marauders, James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew, to which Kit had an answer ready:

“Snape is the best character, ever. The storyline of Snape. Severus Snape is the most tragic, wonderful, brilliant…He’s a character you hate, and then end up loving. He’s just phenomenal. I don’t think I’m right for him, so I’ll play Sirius. But, whoever gets to play Snape, that’s a great character.”

Well, you can expect fan casting rosters to spring back into action now. What role do you think Kit would be fit for? Talk to us in the comments, down below!

Kit Harrington says he’s “excited and terrified” to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Game of Thrones is a giant franchise, so much so that the end of the television show is only the beginning for it. With spinoffs under development, the stars of Thrones are moving towards other big projects, the best example being Kit Harington, who is all set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Speaking at ACE Comic Con recently, he expressed his feelings about this next step. Read on!

We had recently reported that Kit Harington, who played Jon Snow on Game of Thrones has been cast as Dane Whitman, a.k.a. Black Knight, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s upcoming film, The Eternals. He joined a star studded cast that includes his former onscreen brother, Richard Madden, who played the role of Robb Stark on Thrones. Kit discussed what he felt like to be taking on this journey:

“A lot of people who go into the MCU, they haven’t had experience of, maybe, a franchise that big.

I’ve lived with Thrones for 10 years, I’ve known a big franchise and something that’s created a world and it has a huge fan base. So for both reasons, I’m excited and terrified.

He also talked about how he was trying to avoid fantasy roles after Game of Thrones but ended up with Black Knight:

“I’m going on to play a superhero, which is cool. I don’t know what I can say about it, I’m scared to sort of even mention it.

I’m trying to choose things as far away from Jon Snow as possible, but I’m playing a superhero and he’s got a sword.”

He continued:

“It’s a whole new chapter and a whole new character to start thinking about. Without saying too much at all, on the surface, [Black Knight] can look like Jon Snow in the comics but there is actually a lot to be done that is different.”

Well, as much as that is true, we are still very excited to see how Kit does in this new role. What do you guys think? Talk to us in the comments, down below!
