Fans react to Drogon melting the Iron Throne in Game of Thrones Season 8 finale
Game of Thrones has always revolved around one central premise — Who will sit on the Iron Throne? Game of Thrones series finale “The Iron Throne“, was apt to its name.
We saw Daenerys Targaryen reach for the Iron Throne, and even touch it, but before she could sit on it, Jon Snow entered the broken throne room, confronting her about her violence. They talked, and eventually, Jon Snow decided to betray Daenerys. He stabbed her with a knife while the two were kissing. We then saw Drogon come in, and rage out over his mother’s death, raining fire, and melting the Iron Throne. As an object that has been the centre of attention throughout the show, the Iron Throne melting sent the show’s fanbase into a frenzy:
