Stephen King defends Daenerys Targaryen's story arc and Game of Thrones Season 8
Game of Thrones Season 8 has had a lot of fans feeling angry at the progression of the story. We have seen the dissatisfaction rise to a level where fans have started a petition to get HBO to remake the final season, and over a million fans have signed it already. Amidst all this hate, one super-fan has shown his support for the show, and that’s Stephen King, who recently took to Twitter to do the same. Read on!
Noted author Stephen King, who is also good friends with the creator of Game of Thrones, George R. R. Martin, tweeted out his support for Game of Thrones Season 8, and particularly Daenerys Targaryen’s Mad Queen story arc. Check out his tweet:
King has been very vocal about Game of Thrones, especially with this season. He also recently took to Twitter to predict the end of the show — saying that Tyrion should and does end up on the Iron Throne, with Jon and Daenerys both dying. He also commented that Sansa is cold. In any case, if an author as good and revered as King is defending Game of Thrones Season 8, it must mean the show is doing at least something right.
