Arya Stark Extemely Excited to see dragon

Game of Thrones aired it’s longest and biggest episode today. Season 8 Episode 3 featured the biggest battle sequence the show has ever had, or for that matter, likely the biggest battle sequence filmed, ever. The Battle of Winterfell finally happened, and Winterfell’s resident bad-ass Arya Stark fulfilled her destiny. Before you proceed — SPOILER ALERT! Consider yourself warned!

This episode focused on the Army of the Dead coming to Winterfell, and our heroes had a game plan. The army was simply too big to be taken by their forces, and they had to lure out the Night King, to Bran and kill him there, thereby ending the Great War. Bran had offered himself to become the bait, and Theon offered to protect him and hold off the dead. The plan was that Daenerys and Jon would come in with their dragons and finish the job.

As we saw in the episode, this didn’t quite go as planned. The Dragons faced off against Viserion first, and Rhaegal was injured, while Drogon ultimately got crowded by the wights, leaving Daenerys surrounded by them. Jon tried to make his way to Bran but got stuck facing undead Viserion, and ultimately it was only Theon defending Bran. All hope was lost when the Night King arrived, killing Theon, and almost getting to Bran, when Arya jumped out of nowhere, and stuck the Night King with the pointy end of her Valyrian Steel dagger, making her the MVP of the battle.

So there you have it, folks — Arya just casually stabbed the Night King into oblivion. Didn’t think that’s how it would end, did you? Tell us your thoughts in the comments, down below!

My only concern is how many dragons are left now? 2 or 1

I love that Arya was the GOAT… but ones expecting a fight between the Night King and Jon. So much hype and tension between them both for no fight!!! I was also waiting for Jon to take that fight like the Targaryen that he is!!!

Brienne of Tarth: “Who taught you how to do that?”
Arya: “No one.”

Arya is the best! I was amazed though, when fire couldn’t kill the night king, however Arya did it like it was simply another chore.

Too bad you couldn’t hardly see most of the episode because it was so dark. Terrible creative choice. Watched the whole episode pissed off. Fail. But Arya is legendary!

Terrible. Arya was so weak in the castle and then a god in the end. She couldn’t kill the dead in the salon? But she can past a lot of white walkers like a god? How? Did she lost her powers in the castle? And that little girl scream before stabbing the Night King? Why? Why did she alert him? Just awful. Doesn’t make sense and the battle war very lame with total lack of strategy. Dohraki are for flank the dead. Just ridiculous. Awful episode.

Game of Thrones Fans recreate Westeros in Minecraft

Innovative minds can be found in the most unexpected of places. The motivation to build something different often arises from an idea one loves dearly. Minecraft is one of the most popular games currently, where you can show off your creative ideas. One particular Minecraft server, Westeroscraft, is dedicated to building stuff related to the world of Game of Thrones. After months of hard work, they have finally managed to create their own Westeros inside the game. And it seriously looks amazing!

Below you’ll find a selection of recent tweets from Westeroscraft, providing some great images and explanations of what is being shown:

The official Westeroscraft Twitter account shared yet another screenshot of the work-in-progress Westeroscraft server. There, Minecraft fans who love A Song of Ice and Fire and Game of Thrones are recreating Westeros block by block, and the results are truly impressive as the images and videos linked at their official wiki show. We can’t imagine how many hours of work have gone into it!

Last week, One particular Game of Thrones fan created one of the most amazing dioramas of a medieval mini-alley in their bookshelf. It was like peering right into Westeros.

That Time When George Lucas Visited the set of Game of Thrones

Fantasy has always been everyone’s favourite mode of escape from problems of real life. Be it the vastness of space or the mystical land of dragons, they have kept fans hooked for decades. George Lucas, the man responsible for making Star Wars a household name, celebrated his 77th birthday on 14th this month. And he himself is a great fan of fantastical worlds, as evident from his great love for Game of Thrones. He once visited the set of the highly popular TV show during the filming of the 8th season.

He could have [made a cameo], with the beard!” joked Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth). “That’s not a bad idea. We should have stuck him in.” It was surely a fun experience, having this cinema icon on the set of a show that had become pretty iconic himself. Game of Thrones writer Bryan Cogman made sure to get a picture with George, and shared it on his birthday.

George Lucas has a history of showing up on various film and TV sets, whether they’re related to something he created or not. But one thing is for sure, the universe he created and his legacy will entertain the audience for generations to come.

The Star Wars creator deserves all our praise for the amazing world he has created. Send in your best wishes for George in the comments below!

Locals capture first glimpse of a Stand-in for a Dragon on House of The Dragon set

Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon has created a huge hype amongst fantasy lovers. HBO is leaving no stones unturned in the marketing of the fantasy series. In the last few days, they’ve released several photos of some of the key characters in costume. The locals at Cornwall have done their part as well, leaking a few pictures of the filming every now and then. However, it is a well-known fact fans are the most hyped up about one expected element – the Targaryen dragons. The show promises to provide the audience with a larger number of dragons, and we can’t wait to see them all.

Last week, locals at Cornwall spotted the crew filming at one of the sites. And it seemed a lot like a stand-in for one of the dragons. It looked a lot similar to how dragons were filmed in crucial scenes on Game of Thrones. Check it out yourself!

Game of Thrones actors had to use a lot of imagination when it came to acting alongside the dragons. Picture yourself acting in front of someone waving a ball on a stick at you pretending it is a fearsome flying fire-breathing dragon.

House of the Dragon will have a lot of dragons, far more than Game of Thrones. Which dragon do you think they are filming in the Tweet? Talk to us in the comments below!
